KOU Korean bbq Orem

We came late on a Sunday night. There was only one waiter and one chef. The waiter warned us that he was the only one working and it may take a while for food to come out. We decided to try it anyway. Fast forward - we had NO issues at all! Food came out super fast actually and we enjoyed every part of the meal! The meat was high quality and the KOU beef rolls were amazing. Sadly they were out of japchae when we came. However all of the other sides were great. The KFC chicken and dumplings were very good. The chef came by our table at the end of the meal and offered us some delicious ice-cream on the house. He even gave us a to go box for our ramen! We had a wonderful meal here and would definitely come again whenever we’re down here. The staff here were super friendly, honest and nice.

We had the BEST experience here. Shout out to our server— she killed it all night!! The service was amazing as well as the food. Like oh my gosh, the food was SO good. You pay $35 upfront, and then it’s all you can eat from there. The grill experience is so so fun, and everybody who works there is so pleasant and so good at their jobs. Again, we loved Makila and we very much appreciated her hanging around after closing to make sure our experience was perfect. Thank you! I definitely recommend this place. 🫶

What a fun restaurant. Sarah was our waitress and took good care of us, and the food was amazing. First time I've been to this restaurant and definitely won't be the last. We tried the All you can eat to try as much as possible and it was worth it. They bring the raw meat to you so you get to cook your own food and season it on your table top grill. Their dipping sauce was a delicious addition to the meal. In the included pictures we circled the food we tried and starred the ones we loved the most.

My wife and I always go to KOU in Midvale. The quality in meats are similar between the two but the service are 2 different worlds. I understand they were busy but our server didn't check on us even after we finished an order of meat. We had to flag down another server to get some help. Then once we went to pay I told our server about how it was our 1st time there and about how much bigger the Orem location is compared to Midvales. She just handed us our receipt and sent us on our way. I get it shes not obligated to talk to us. But sheesh blantly ignored. Wow exactly what the service felt like, ignored. If you had the option to go to the one in Midvale. Stick to that one. Service is great, fast, and friendly.

A wonderful dining experience! Nice atmosphere, fun and friendly. Fine dining Korean BBQ. Jaedon was my server, and he made me feel welcomed and well cared for. 10/10 would recommend. Excellent for family dining and date nights. Can’t wait to visit again 😊

Went here for our granddaughters birthday. I have never had such bad service and it was not because they were busy. We waited over 15 minutes for food that we have to cook ourselfs and we never got refills. The server was sitting on a bench doing nothing. We talked to the manager and all he said was "sorry I will talk to the server. As we went to pay for the food we did get ( the manager was the cashier) our server was still sitting on the bench infront of the him. This place is not worth the money. Has a very small menu for an all you can eat. Will never come back and will never recommend.

So many options of meat, The amount of one portion is so huge... We enjoyed abundant of great food. Thanks. I hope the business is successful. The service was even better 😃
