Blue Sushi Sake Grill

Visiting from out of town and came across this place on the map and decided to try it out! Food - Crab Rangoon: very little filling on the inside but the sauce was a sweet and spicy mix that was a good complement for the wonton skin to dip into. - Tidal Wave: a flavorful roll the eel sauce tied everything together really well. - Ceviche: Was plated very nicely and it felt like each bite was very fresh. There was a lot more dip than chips so each bite was very filling. - Hawaiian Roll: a sweet and savory roll with a mango sauce, a very different taste compared to the tidal wave. A more fresh and tropical twist with the mango pieces in the roll. Service - Everyone was really nice and attentive. When we first walked in, we were greeted right away and there was very little wait from placing the order to getting the food on the table. Our server was very friendly and made sure to check up on us and our food. Atmosphere - Overall the place was amazingly decorated and had its own vibes to it. The windows gave a nice view of Old Market, especially those who are visiting out of town. I think some patrons could have been spaced out more throughout the restaurant since there was a lot more seating available.

Blue sushi has always been one of my favorite sushi places in Omaha. Had the ceviche, mango crab Rangoon, the Hot popper roll, Lion king roll, Smoked Philadelphia roll, and the Cherry bomb. All of them were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. We went around 3pm during happy hour.

Loved my visit to Blue Sushi Sake Grill! The vibe is modern and welcoming, and the food was delicious. As someone who prefers vegetarian options, I absolutely loved the Cowgirl Roll – so creative and full of flavor. Great place for sushi lovers, even if you don’t eat fish!

We had a great experience. Our server Margaret was awesome. It was my first time getting sushi. She explained everything and gave excellent recommendations. Food and drinks were delicious. We will go again when we’re back in the area.

My daughter and I give this place a 12 out of 10! We had the Passion Paloma to drink, super delicious! We ordered the Spicy Gringo, Spider Maki, and the Spanish Fly! All were wonderful, but my favorite was the Spanish Fly! Can’t wait to come back!

1 stars because the sushi was very good. Service was fast. It was our waitness that rubbed me the wrong way. I went with my boyfriend, when I tell you she talked directly to him only. Even when I ordered, she looked and talked to him. Her body turned away from me. She even touch his hand which made us both uncomfortable. In front of me! Super disrespectful. I won't go back. She had a birth mark on her face. Love how they only respond to good reviews.

Our server was very attentive and helpful. Both the soup and the salad could be a main dish if paired together. The sushi is not my #1 in Omaha but it is still excellent. The lunch special is the way to bring the price down as it is on the expensive side.
