The Banyan House Restaurant

Service and atmosphere were very good. Adorable downtown Wellen Park with a very pretty sunset view. We arrived at 6:15 on a Saturday night and the special was already unavailable. They substituted the Waygu beef. It had the flavor, texture and moisture of a sirloin or New York strip. My miso Cod was extremely dry. Miso flavor was amazing and I wish it would have flavored the fish but did not. My partner said "you know it’s bad when the best thing on the whole table is the mac & cheese". Will not return.

We had a really lovely dinner here. The restaurant felt welcoming from the moment we walked in, and we genuinely enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious with well-balanced flavors, and every dish tasted freshly prepared. A special mention goes to Kelly, our server. She was attentive, warm, friendly, and always seemed to be there at exactly the right moment. She made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. We left happy and satisfied — we will definitely be back.

Came with a group of 30 ladies and our server Katie was incredible. I can admit we were a touch difficult and she handled it with such a professional attitude. The food was great. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area!!

Update: We went back…. This time for dinner and it was like a fairy tale dinner date night. Our meal was made to perfection! The salmon, ribeye and drinks are tantalizing, but the pot roast with garlicky mash potatoes, mushrooms, carrots and greens beans was the clear winner❤️❤️❤️ We throughly enjoyed our lunch here. The view is amazing, the food is spectacular and the service is top notch. Our server Inna made great recommendations. We ordered the grouper tacos and blackened grouper sandwich paired with a cucumber/tomato salad and truffle fries. Those fries were out of this world. Their summer lunch menu is amazingly affordable and their wine and beer menu is extensive. The decor is beautiful, especially the trees going all the way up to the roof. We can’t wait to get back for the crème brûlée martini!!!!

TATIANA was simple awesome from greeting to orders taking to checking on us timely so well JUST PERFECT. Our awesome cupid lemon drop & Cosmo Banyan martinis were a great start. Pics best show our awesome martinis & excellent dinner. Again thanks TATIANA!!!

Cem was a great server! Food was amazing. We ordered the wagyu and the beef short rib. Drinks were great also. We had the cosmo and the old fashioned

We had an excellent Sunday breakfast buffet at The Banyan House, the staff was very friendly. Be sure to call ahead for reservations. We paid 35$ per person and 20% tip is added automatically, overall great experience and it’s definitely worth it!
