Delicious!! Had to wait a little bit for seating but there’s so many options around and the workers are fast. There’s someone always clearing the trash and cleaning the tables!
I ordered tofu stew here, and it tasted a bit different from the one in Korea. It was slightly sweet. Honestly, I really enjoyed it with brown rice—especially since it was cold outside. I’d recommend it in the winter.
Inside the gansevoort market, on a rainy day, had the beef tofu soup. Warming soup, a tinge of heat, abit on the sweet side, with beef and zucchinis in it. A westernised korean dish.
Mixed feelings about this one. I got the soy garlic chicken bibimbap. I thought the price and portion size were good, and it came with a good amount of carbs, veggies, and chicken. My complaints are: 1) it tasted mediocre and 2) there was no egg, which I feel is a crucial component. My favourite bibimbaps are the ones that come in hot stone bowls, where the heat of the bowl gradually turns the rice delightfully crispy. In this case, it felt like this was "fast-food" bibimbap. It was prepared very quickly, but taste was sacrificed for the convenience.
Nope. Got the tofu stew. For $18, I got a few tiny pieces of tofu. Bottom of the barrel type of bs. Why do you even call it tofu soup? Just say it’s a broth.
delicious tofu & mushroom bibimbap. Fried dumplings were also very good.
my son ordered Galbi, Korean BBQ, on 2/27/2025. He cannot eat so I asked why? but the food looks ok. When I try it it was a the worst meat and covered with bbq source. It was too chewy and cannot chew and swallow. What a shame and mis-leading new yorkers for korean food. When I carefully took a look the quality, the meat is too old in friger and mirafied with sweet bbq source. However, spice squid was ok.
