I came here with a group on Thanksgiving Day, and it was honestly the best choice we could’ve made. The food was incredible. Everything was super flavorful dishes like the spicy pork, bulgogi, and the perfectly crispy pancakes. The banchan were fresh and delicious, and the drink options (soju, makgeolli, and beer) made the meal even more fun. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of, even on a holiday. Such a cozy, welcoming place to dine. Highly recommend!

Simple but delicious and affordable menu, great service. Food goes well with Makgeolli- a low-alcohol percentage, traditional, cloudy, milky-white Korean rice wine- the stir fried pork was delicious but may be a little spicy-hot for some. The bulgogi was good and not spicy at all.

Mr Cookbop is a fantastic spot for authentic Korean cuisine in the area. Their ginseng chicken soup is rich and comforting, perfect for a hearty meal. The stir-fried pork is packed with bold flavors, and the seafood pancake is crispy on the outside with a generous amount of fresh seafood inside. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a great place to enjoy a delicious and authentic Korean dining experience. Highly recommended!

This place is one of the most happiest accidents of my life :> My father needed to go to the restroom and we happened to stumble upon this place. Being that we were quite hungry and haven't had dinner yet, we decided to have a quick meal here. The food was amazing and reminded me of the time I was in Korea a few months ago, especially the interior. Pricing is honestly superb. Only around 14 dollars (not including taxes and tips) for their signature Mr.Cookbop Stew/Soup which I split between me and father since although being quite hungry, the portion sizes were suuuper generous. Oh, did I mention unlimited side dishes and rice? Was quite surprised they do this since this is the US, but indeed just like Korea they give you unlimited side dishes and refills for your rice (which is also quite rare even in Korea!) Personally for me, the fishcake sidedish were my favorite. Service is also super nice and helpful, overall an amaazing experience. Only thing I was missing was spice, since the food had very little spice in terms of heat, but to be completely fair I do have quite a bit of a spice tolerance and they'd have to cater to locals here as well.

This is a fantastic new restaurant, and was a really great casual place to eat. I’ve read that the owner is the main guy that takes care of you, and it seems that way, because he is happy to explain things and make sure you have a good meal. The pot meal comes with the four sides to eat as an appetizer first, then you can eat those appetizers with the rice that comes with the pot meal, essentially however you want. I ordered the #1 and I’m pretty lame with my spice tolerance, and it was great. The food was genuinely delicious, and was honestly really affordable, especially for what you get. Also the owner gives more rice or more of the appetizers as you want them, so it was genuinely satisfying, and you get more of what you need to enjoy the meal. Honestly, this is a gem, and I’m only guessing here, but I imagine a family restaurant in Korea might be exactly like this. It felt really natural and genuine.

This place is very minimal and neat. The atmosphere is really relaxing. The owner is very nice, friendly, and checked up on us as we ate. The food was very fresh, especially the side dishes, and authentic. The portions were very filling as well. The menu is also changed daily according to the owner. Service was amazing overall.
