This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Our server was amazing and gave us some great recommendations. Our drinks were really good. We had the BACKBREAKER RIBS for an appetizer, LA GALBI & SPICY PORK BULGOGI as our main dish and then finished it off with the Nutty Dirty Dream for dessert. Everything was delicious and so flavorful.
Loved the sea symphony dish. The "nice 2 meat u steak " was flavorful and good but we got confused when the menu says meat served with baby potatoes and the dish was served with eggplant and zucchini. The bao buns were delicious, the buns could be more softer. Must try the red ginseng drink. The service was excellent. Elyana our server was amazing so was the owner. Both were warm and accommodating. The only downside was the tiramisu, the ladyfingers were very soggy and didn't taste any coffee, the cream tasted more like creamcheese than mascapone. Overall we would be back again soon. Would recommend this place to everyone, nice and cozy with good food and great service.
Our family travelled from Texas and while looking for something new to try during our stay here, we stumbled across U&I ! Not only was our server, Erin, incredibly friendly and helpful, but the food was so flavorful and delicious. The wait time for our food was also short, which we appreciated. If we ever come back to Tennessee, this will be a ‘must go again’ for us!
This is as authentic korean food as you can get. I love mom and pop restaurant. The decor of the restaurant 😍 Also the presentation of the food shows the owners truly want them to enjoy their experiences. We try it once and the next thing you know we had to go again, but we brought family this time to give it a try. And they are also raving about it. I dont live in Murfreesboro, but my sister does and this is definitely going to be one of our new spots to eat. I know it hard to pick a favorite. We just ordered different dishes and shared. And we still had leftovers!
The atmosphere alone is worth coming and trying out. It is beautifully decorated and the patio is my favorite in the Boro. They offer a fusion tapas style menu as well as traditional Korean. We had the Jjangmyeon, Jjampong, and Tangsuyuk and were impressed with all three, especially their Tangsuyuk which had good seasoning and the sauce was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try their fusion menu with some cocktails for date night!!! This will be a new favorite of ours and on rotation. Please show them some love and support them!!
We had seen rave facebook reviews and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, especially the patio. It would be a great space for large groups or a date night. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Although there seemed to be a lot of variety on the menu, we decided to order Korean dishes that we typically enjoy. We got the dolsot bipimbap, beef bugolgi, and a dumpling soup. The meal came with a variety of Banchan, and they accommodated my request for a raw egg instead the fried egg for the stone bowl. Everything was delicious. Pricey, as are most Korean restaurants. I really liked that the music was not too loud and the atmosphere was quiet. Can't wait to return and try other dishes.
An incredible restaurant that is barely 2 months old. My wife had heard good things about this Korean restaurant, and on a whim, craving soup, we decided to come in. The first thing we noticed upon approaching the restaurant was how nice it looks. The outdoor area, which is a room with multiple big windows and a great ambiance, was extremely well decorated. We decided to eat indoors, and we were pleasantly surprised to see how well decorated the inside is as well. I wish I had taken pictures of the interior, but readers will have to take my word for it and go check it out themselves. We arrived about an hour before closing, and we had just come in after a huge crowd of people had left, so we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Which is nice, but honestly, I would rather see more people give this place a chance and have it be packed. We were given amazing customer service by Heidi, who I presume is the owner or one of the owners of the restaurant. She was wonderful to talk to and very kind. She helped us decide what to choose and was very patient, especially because my wife and I are not very familiar with Korean food. We ended up picking Kalbi Tang and Yukka Jang. And I must say, they were both fantastic. The portion sizes were huge, so make sure to have a great appetite when you plan to go. The prices are also very fair for what you get! The sides for the main course were also fantastic. All in all, I have to say that from first visual impressions, to customer service, to our first time trying these Korean dishes, this place is a 10/10. I would highly recommend it, especially for those who are looking for something different or if you’re looking to take that special someone on a nice date!
