MR. KIMCHI KOREAN BBQ RANDHURST

Our lunch special was $23.99 with tax and tips $30. It was all you can eat without the premium meats. It comes with plenty of side dishes. For the price our meats were very good. During lunch I heard rice was free but at dinner it’s extra $3 per bowl. That dinner rice seems expensive, but maybe they needed to make money some where😂 Our waitress was super nice and helpful.

Finally made it to Mr. Kimchi and now I get the hype!! It was insanely busy when we went and we waited about 45 minutes for a table of three on a weekend night, but it was worth it. We ordered a ton of different meats and everything came out quickly. The pork belly was really good, and the pork steak was also super tasty. The spicy chicken had lots of flavor, and the bulgogi was our favorite. I also like the steamed egg and all the side dishes that come with the meal. Even though the place was packed, the workers were so efficient and constantly checked in on us. The smoke sucker is right above the pan to help with the smoke going in your face. Overall, great food, great service, and I would definitely come back.

Our server (according to my receipt) was "All".. idk if this is serious or not lol. Our server was a gentleman and attentive. The interior in this location is quite different from their original Golf Road location. It has been awhile but the 1st location feels more restaurant-like compared to this location, which has more a sports bar feel. The Kbbq experience is still excellent. Banchan is still plentiful. I did not take any fotos of the AYCE menu/price because it is still same as the latest I saw in Google reviews. We had a group of 3. Gratuity was auto applied upon checkout. We got the premium menu, no extras, and it was around $45 after everything per person. They have a 2hr ordering window. We arrived 1:15pm and no wait on a Sunday (Oct 26). I would come again!

Have been returning to this location many times. Very clean and the staff is great. We had the honor of having Snow as our server and she was amazing. Very nice and served us very quickly. Never really had to wait for anything.

We had a very frustrating experience at Mr. Kimchi due to poor management and inconsistent service. We waited about one hour to be seated, even though several tables were empty the entire time. Some tables were left uncleared for at least 15 minutes after customers had already left. The wait made no sense and felt completely unmanaged. After finally being seated, we waited another 7 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We chose the premium menu at $35 per person. Our server, SNOW, appeared to be having a bad day. She never smiled and was rude throughout the interaction. She told us we were only allowed to order three types of meat at a time per table, despite the fact that we were four adults. This rule was never posted anywhere. She then said we could only reorder once all the meat plates were completely emptied. Again, no written rule. After we put everything onto the grill, we asked to order again. At that point, she became visibly annoyed and introduced another new rule: we had to finish everything on the grill before being allowed to reorder. This rule was also not posted anywhere. As a result, after finishing all the meat, we waited at least 5 minutes for her to come back to take our order, then another 10 minutes for the ordered meat to arrive. That’s 15 minutes of doing nothing but staring at each other, while being on a timed dining experience. Meanwhile, more and more customers were waiting outside for tables that were clearly not being turned efficiently. Every step of the process involved unnecessary waiting, confusion, and arbitrary rules. We were so annoyed that we eventually gave up. This was not an enjoyable dining experience at all. One more thing worth mentioning: it’s now clear how this place has so many five-star reviews. Customers are offered free ice cream if they scan the QR code on the table, which leads directly to Google reviews. That explains a lot. Poor service, poor management, and misleading review practices. We will absolutely not be returning. 👎👎👎👎👎

It was the first visit here for me at 2025/08. (Actually I have visited the other restaurant in Mt Prospect). I arrived here at 11:58am. But there were two other guests. I thought this restaurant is very popular. It was true. This restaurant is "ALL YOU CAN EAT" There are a lot of foods we can chose. I could be served foods quickly. The foods everything I selected was good. The staff was very kind. They changed the steel plate four time even though I did'nt ask for it.

Out of all of the locations, mount prospect is the best one. We have other locations closer to our house, but this is the one with the best service and the best quality of meat and sides. Any time we go anywhere else, we find ourselves comparing our experience at those places to this one and always end up just cutting to the chase and coming back here. The last few times we have been here we have had Snow as our server, and she has been extremely attentive. She made sure we had the right amount of sides, drinks and checked in as we finished each round of meat to get ahead of the next order. We will be requesting to sit in her section every time. Highly recommend you come here!
