K‑COOP CHICKEN absolutely hits the spot. The chicken comes out hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned — that kind of crunch that makes you pause mid‑bite because it’s that good. Their sauces are legit addictive too, especially the sweet‑spicy ones that coat every piece without making it soggy. The sides are solid, the portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. It’s the kind of place you walk into thinking you’ll just grab a quick bite and end up planning your next visit before you even leave. If you’re craving Korean‑style fried chicken done right, K‑COOP delivers big time.

A lively spot for some delicious Korean fried chicken! This restaurant is filled with fun decorations for the season and upbeat music. I recommend coming for the lunch special, which is a pretty good deal for 5 wings or tenders, fries, and a hotteok. My wings were so crunchy yet still juicy, and I really liked the spicy Korean BBQ sauce. Make sure to ask for pickled radishes for the classic Korean fried chicken experience. If you’re looking for great chicken in Skokie, K-COOP is the place to go!

Visited Chicago for the first time and stumbled upon this Korean fried chicken spot — and wow, the food was amazing! I ordered the lunch special, and for the price, it was totally worth it. I really liked that the sauce came on the side — great idea for people who don’t like too much sauce. You can even substitute the fries with rice, which I appreciated. Only downside is that you have to pay extra for the pickled radish, but honestly, with how good and affordable the meal was, I didn’t mind. The food definitely gave authentic Korea vibes. A must-visit spot when you’re in Chicago! 🇰🇷🍗

We were visiting a family member who had just moved to this area. Afterwards we decided to find a place to get dinner. We came to K-Coop because she had driven by it and wanted to try it. There is plenty of parking on site. On the outside, they have a Squid Game cutout where you can take pictures. If you haven't seen the series, i highly recommend it. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. Their menu has so many different things to try. We decided to get the tenders with fries. Tried the K barbecue sauce and the garlic ones. Both were great. But they have several more flavors to choose from. The fries were also good. They didn't even need ketchup. For dessert, we tried the honey pancakes. Which ended up being delicious. The atmosphere was great. They had music playing along with video's on the tv's. Each table had a buzzer installed so you could page your waiter at any time. When you leave, they have boards on the wall to pick which flavor you liked most. So make sure you place your vote. I definitely recommend this place. We are planning to come back another time to try out the other foods.

K-COOP is a FANTASTIC restaurant. The chicken was perfectly cooked and sauce was amazing. The service was friendly and very attentive. The BEER was ice cold. You won't be let down with this choice. Wish they had this back in Ontario.

I visited this place during a weekday lunch. I had high expectations due to the great reviews, and the taste did not disappoint. The chicken captured the best qualities of Korean fried chicken and was absolutely delicious. The surroundings were clean, and the space was spacious. However, there were a few downsides. The servers were very slow and not particularly friendly. They didn’t seem inclined to explain the menu or assist first-time visitors. If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend studying the menu beforehand. Also, make sure to allow plenty of time, as the food takes quite a while to come out, and the staff is quite laid-back. That said, the food was so good that I still want to give this place a high rating.
