Fish & BBQ Korean Restaurant || 회랑고기랑

I've been to this establishment a couple of times and have had great experiences. The food is fresh and well seasoned. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. Much love to the owner who makes sure the patrons are well looked after.

Saturday lunchtime wasn't even packed. First time going. Impressed! Great portions and lots of different food options like the stir fried gizzards. GET IT!!!! Any other day we would've ordered just bulgogi, but we just loved the gizzards so much more. It came with a salty sesame oil that was tasty. One dish plus the banchan sides are more than enough for 2 people. We took all the leftovers to go. Ask for the cold boricha (barley tea). 😋

If you like Korean food, this is your place. Very authentic. The monk fish soup was very good. Not nearly as many bones as fish soup I have had in other Korean restaurants. Be careful because Korean soups come out of the kitchen steaming ♨️.

This place is awesome!!! What a surprise gem in Montgomery. This was my first time and I loved it. Delicious!!!

Came here tonight from out of town with 7 other coworkers from outside of Alabama. I had heard Montgomery had a strong Korean population with multiple Korean restaurants and we wanted to try it out. Fish & BBQ was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and taught us how to cook and eat. We were introduced to Soju and so many other things. It was amazing I’ll never forget it. The staff was incredible. One of a kind experience. So much fun.

Our experience here was sub-par at best. The prices are much higher than the quality of food. After I received my soup, I had to hunt down the waitress to ask for salt, soy sauce and chili. She provided about a tablespoon of soy sauce and said they didn’t have any of the others. Water was never refilled. When my wife’s hot pot was delivered after 30 minutes, it was very plain. Again, no chili or spices available to make it edible. We asked for to go boxes and brought the $50 hot pot home and made it good. Truly waste of time and money. I’m not sure why our experience was so different from other reviewers that have left positive comments, but for us, this was a sad experience. I feel bad leaving a $5 tip on a $76 tab, but it was more than she deserved.
