Aroy Thai

We were surprised by how delicious their food was! We ordered three different foods to share, which were all amazing! 😍 We especially loved their shrimp fried rice and eggplant stir-fries, and we would like to come back to try another.

I got tom kha and pad Thai and it was the most bland watery version I’ve ever had. Over priced and they charged extra for rice with my soup. Absurd considering the food quality was awful.

I’m so glad we found this place. This is probably the best Thai food in the area. My husband had the sweet and sour chicken and shrimp and was very happy with it. I had the chicken pad Thai. It was good. Could use a little more flavor but still better than any place around. Like everyone else mentions, this place is not aesthetically pleasing but the flavors and huge portions make up for it. My pad Thai ended up being 3 meals.

Excellent, excellent Thai food! This was my first visit here and it was great. I hit the Pineapple Express, served inside a hulled out pineapple, something I had when I was first introduced to Thai food over thirty years ago. Everything on the table for four was delicious because, as usual, I tasted everyone’s. Great service, staff was efficient and friendly. Area of town is not my favorite but the dining area seemed clean. Great visit!

This place was a pleasant surprise, the food is delicious with a big serving. We ordered chicken pad thai and a shrimp curry for 2 people and our toddler, we were more than satisfied. The service is excellent and incredibly fast. We had been sitting for 5 minutes and we were already eating.

Located in Mobile, AL, just off US-90, is Aroy Thai. This place has some super amazing food! For a a drink, I had Thai tea. I asked for a separate cup of ice (because I don't like super cold drinks). The server had brought a glass of water in tow for me. For an appetizer, my wife and I had chicken satay and fried tofu. They were BOTH very lovely. For my main, I normally stick with Thai Basil, but branched off this once and was pleasantly surprised. It was super flavorful and had just the right amount of spiciness, sweet and savory. A perfect blend. It was also server with white rice. The server was kind and chatty. Suggested multiple dishes and otherwise answered our questions. My wife asked for a particular dish and the chef delivered. She also asked for more spicey variety, and the server brought out a small board with 4 containers within which was different types of chili sauce. The overall enviroent was quaint, rather quiet, and incredibly clean. Just a smidgen cold though. The bathroom was cleaned and well stocked. Overall, if you want some good Thai food in a great atmosphere in Mobile, AL, Aroy Thai is your place!

Decided to try this Thai Restaurant out for lunch during a Wednesday. The food was good, we often find that good Thai is hard to come by. They got busy and our server got a little behind with service. I noted somewhere they offered Papaya Salad, it was not on the lunch menu. So maybe for dinner?? We had the lunch special and Pad Thai. We will visit again.
