This place is very well-known as a Korean BBQ restaurant, and for good reason. They offer many different styles of meat, especially dry-aged cuts with a unique and memorable flavor. The service is outstanding—staff are always smiling, constantly coming over to grill the meat for you before you even ask, and making sure the table is fully taken care of. The side dishes are generous and refilled endlessly, including doenjang stew, begee paste stew, and other banchan that pair perfectly with the meat. The highlight at the end was the nurungji with doenjang stew, which was absolutely amazing. It was a truly new and enjoyable dining experience, and I’m already thinking about coming back again. Oh, we was 6 people and ordered chef cut combo and variety combo large. Was enough .
It was my first time visiting the new location, and I really liked the clean store and the spotless restrooms. The quality of all the meats were excellent, and the boneless short rib (Kkot-sal) and lamb were especially delicious. The side dishes (Banchan) were light and plain, which was great for pairing with the meat. We also separately ordered Myeongi-namul (mountain garlic leaves), and it is even more delicious when wrapped together with the pork belly (Samgyeopsal) and beef brisket (Chadol). The server kindly grilled the meat perfectly for us and refilled the side dishes. A unique point was the individual tongs provided, which were great and convenient for picking up both the meat and the perilla leaf side dish. One drawback was that the chairs were lower than the table height, which made eating a bit uncomfortable.
The daechang and makchang were delicious. It's a shame they don't have fried rice. One server was always stern and silent, and another splashed soy sauce on my shirt and quickly apologized. Everything was neither good nor bad. I'll go back again if I crave daechang.
Delicious meal. We had the combo and could switch out some meat so we got the intestines instead of tripe - so yummy. The manager was very warm and welcoming. They cook all the food for you, although they move fast so we felt rushed to have the next meat. Sides are all delicious. I came here 2 years ago and I think the food is even better now than it was last time.
We came here expecting a good meal and ordered a combo for two. At first, the meat was grilled well and the experience was decent, so we decided to order an additional à la carte dish (daechang). Unfortunately, that’s where the experience changed. The additional order was not grilled for us and came out completely burnt to the point that it was not edible. The inconsistency in service and food quality between the initial order and the additional order was disappointing. On top of that, the response from what seemed to be either the owner or a manager felt quite unfriendly. The level of service clearly changed depending on the situation, which left a bad impression. Even AYCE bbq places have better service thesedays. Ever since real owner passed away, things are downgraded so much.
I highly recommend Yangmani for Korean BBQ! The grilled meat is absolutely delicious, and the service is really great. Definitely worth a visit!
The food was incredible. We ordered the chef’s selection, and the quality and portion size were impressive. Worth traveling for, and will definitely be coming back here in the future.
