This place is one of the newest low key power punchers in Little Tokyo. The food punches way above its weight class. I happened to visit the first time just 2 weeks after they opened. And I was originally going to get udon by the place close by. But the lady behind the counter smiled and was just so sweet when I walked by. I decided to take a chance & switch my meal to Korean. I went with the Bibimbap. I figured some kimchi in my life wouldn't hurt. The plating looked average, nothing to write home about. But then I took my first 2 bites. The taste buds exploded! It was delicious. The bowl looked small but I only made it through 70% of the portion and ate the rest for a snack later. On the way out I decided to order the Osam Bulgogi (spicy squid and pork belly) to eat for later that night.. I made the mistake of trying it while it was still fresh... Big mistake. I ate half of the order lol... AMAZING! Now I come back months later. And I decided to go try the shrimp and a little bowl of rice & bottle of water. Came out to $11.00 and an amazing meal. The shrimp were big clocking in about 3/4 the size of the water bottle. They were so perfectly golden and light with a semi light batter reminiscent of the most comforting tempura texture. The cream sauce is sweet similar to what you would taste in a honey walnut shrimp dish but not as sweet. I can't wait to come back. Luckily I live far. Otherwise I'd be eating here every other day and put on some weight lol. The dumpling soup spiciness has a kick. For those that can't handle spice, would say it's too spicy. It won't make your lips numb. But might push the boundary of making you blow your nose once or twice and clear out the sinuses lol. Was perfect for me. The beef bowl packs a hearty punch. Can't go wrong with the really crispy dumplings either. The lady who took my order was Eri? Really sweet. Hope this place stays for a long long time. Update: back in July. They've added some Bulgogi Bao to the menu! Holy cow. Never tasted a bao like this. They have a nice touch with their sweet corn topping it over the lettuce. Definitely put some spicy sauce on it. Bang for the buck... This place is a gem.

The sweetest woman took our order and it was the most scrumptious korean food I’ve had since being in Korea almost 10 years ago!!! Highly recommend.

Recent new restaurant opened up inside the grocery store, and I love checking out all off the local food shops in LT. The woman who took are order had a wide smile and felt warmly welcoming. We tried the pork belly kimchi fried rice and the korean ramen (only 7.99 btw!!). I was blown away with the taste and quality of the dishes. The sides provided were fresh as well. Dinner for two people was only $22 which is an incredible price point. It provides 60 minute validation for the parking structure. A nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out, we will be back!

Pretty solid spot to get some tofu. I needed something soft to eat and I was lucky enough to stumble on this place. Honestly, everything else on the menu looked really good but I am having some dental issues right now so I needed to stick to softer food but the tofu was good. Nothing special about it though. The woman at the cash register was also really patient with me which I appreciate and my food was out rather quickly. I want to come back and try some of the other food though.

God bless this little hidden gem operated by the most kind Korean ajuma in a Korean market. The food is just as good, if not better, than Ktown comfort Korean food without the distance. The food is extremely reasonably priced too. Please go support them! They put a lot of love into their food, and it shows! You can order to-go or eat at the market (they have an open seating). You can easily park in the lot or parking garage (can validate with purchase in the market).

I’ve been eating korean food for 20 years, and this is the best Kimchi Jigae I’ve had. Can’t speak for any of the other items.

I love their spicy pork bowl, extremely tasty, great price, also their fried mandu is great as well! They are located in the grocery store if you are trying to find them, Check them out!
