Sura Korean BBQ & Tofu House Restaurant - Long Beach

Food was great: I loved the variety of items and amount of vegan options. We enjoyed everything we ordered. I have to say the music was on point. All the best k-pop songs! I wish the service was better. Our server rarely came by and took forever to get our orders taken. It wasn’t even that crowded. I’d like to go back and see if the service is better because the food was delicious.

Had an amazing experience at Sura Korean BBQ in LA! We tried the vegan combo, which included vegan bulgogi, shrimp, japchae noodles, crispy wontons, sticky rice skewers (taekbokki-style), and banchan. Everything was delicious, but the sticky rice skewers, wontons, and vegan bulgogi really stood out. The vegan shrimp had a texture surprisingly similar to real shrimp, and the kimchi was excellent. Staff was warm and welcoming. A must-visit, especially for great vegan Korean food. Highly recommend!

Food and service were phenomenal. Parking is tricky and very limited. Small space can have a wait time if you go during a busy time. Lunch specials don’t include the weekend. Our server was outstanding and very helpful, it was my first time there and he made the best recommendations. Now onto why I gave it 4/5 instead of 5/5. The price for 2 people getting 2 entrees and 2 appetizers was $100. For $50 a plate I would’ve like the atmosphere to be better and a little higher class. If it’s your first time here try different stuff they have a great selection and foods fresh.

They have vegetarian KBBQ!!!! I’ve never seen this available anywhere and was so excited to finally be able to enjoy this option!!! It was nothing short of amazing 😻 I ate way too much and died but it was worth it. Seriously though.. a two person portion is massive!! Great value and the cucumber refresher was nice and light.

Honestly, hugely disappointed about this place. Big fan of Korean food, I came given the good reviews, and ordered a beef bulgogi, meat delicious like 10 out of 10… but the rest tasted like licking a rock… pretty bad, I was either shy/polite to send the dish back to the kitchen. But I would sure not be coming back to this place. People making the dishes should idk… have a bite or something before sending them out …

It was amazing food and pretty authentic in my opinion since returning from South Korea. The staff was friendly . We came on an a slow day and the restaurant basically to ourselves. It was nice and spacious. I’m sure the atmosphere gets even better when more people are around. I will be coming again!

My date and I went to this restaurant because they have both vegan and meat eaters .. I had the short ribs and they were very good.
