Gives lots of lots of food. One order is almost like for 2-3 people. Taste is just meh, but i guess their strength is the quantity of the food. Their spicy tuna with cheese gimbap was pretty dry, i asked for a mayo to dip it in because it was way too dry to be eaten by itself(or you can eat it with teokpokki but it gets pretty spicy). And then their teokpokki was pretty good(taste wise) with also very large portion. And I also ordered assorted fried set, and it was huuuge portion. I went with my mom, so we have leftovers as a take-out which lasted two more days for us to finish. The server did mention their portion is big, and he also corrected us when we were about to accidently order way more food than we expect, so super thankful for that. One thing I really liked about this place is the interior; it’s a wide open space with clean/earthy feeling. And the price is not that bad considering how much food you get.
Korean cuisine has a long and fascinating history that dates back thousands of years. The cuisine has been influenced by various cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, and Mongolian. The ancient Koreans were known for their agricultural skills and their use of fermented foods, which has had a lasting impact on Korean cuisine. Although other East Asian cuisines such as Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese had long been popular in the US, Korean food has recently risen in popularity. Located off of Bergen Turnpike in Little Ferry, this casual establishment serves Korean comfort dishes, and I came for lunch as a first-timer. Upon entering Bunsiknara Plus, I got a table quickly inside a clean, well-lit, spacious, modern vibe and got a chance to speak with the owner. The menu was diverse, consisting of multiple pages ranging from Tteokbokki, Kimbap, and Tonkatsu to LA Galbi Combo. There is definitely something for everyone. I decided on the quick meal of Pork Tonkatsu (돈가스) which was hammered thin, making it larger and thinner to maximize the meat and crispiness. Complimentary Banchan consisting of kimchi, pickled radishes, and salad began the meal. The food was bold, complex, and delicious, using a range of spices, herbs, and other fresh ingredients. The special sauce luckily came separately to avoid being soggy. As is common in many other Asian countries, a bowl of rice is of central importance and anchors the entire meal. The portions were huge, and the price was reasonable. The service was quick and professional. I could recommend this place.
5 Stars!!! This was our first time trying Korean Food and to be honest it was perfect, it was very tasty and a very good portion for the price, we really enjoyed it, my girl ordered a Tonkatsu+Fishkatsu+Friedrice and I ordered a stir fried spicy squid and pork on hot griddle, (100% recommended) we will be coming back👌🏼
My favorite place !! Food is great no matter what you pick from the menu but a personal fave is the jajangmyeon

FEEL GOOD KOREAN FOOD 🥘 This restaurant is clean, spacious, modern, and serves delicious food. We had the cold noodles, black noodles, and udon 🍜 All the noodles were great and so were the dumplings 🥟 But the star of the show is the katsu. Specifically the one with cheese 🧀 inside, even if you can’t decide… just get one to share with everyone as a taste. Amazing restaurant! Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent quality food. The food came out quick. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Casual, relaxing cafe-like atmosphere. At first, I thought it was expensive for good Korean food but that's because some of the orders on the menu are very large. Some things like the Combo specials can serve 2-3 people! It would be helpful if they had an option for a smaller combo size. Either way it's worth taking the leftovers home. We ordered a lot of food to try but you can easily spend less than $12 here and get a delicious full entree. For two people, we tried the Tteokbokki, the fish katsu and tonkatsu Combo, two different bimbimbap rolls (the menu has two pages of different bimbimbap...), and tofu soup. I was surprised that at how good each item was. It was definitely enough for a few people to share. My only concern here is that this restaurant gets too popular and they jack up the prices. They just opened and I'm not sure if they'll stay the same. I hope the menu and prices remain affordable. Totally worth the visit. Will return with friends and family. I love this place.
