Yami Korean & Thai Cuisine

FANTASTIC! Eating now, and while I wait for the fire in my mouth to die down I had to share how awesome the food is. I really highly recommend, best Thai and Korean I've ever had in Lincoln. So happy I live about a mile away, going to be a very frequent visitor! UPDATE: Second day in a row eating lunch here. This meal was just as fantastic as the first. Tried the fried tofu appetizer, very good and lightly fried enough to feel like you're eating something healthy much like the meals. Had the Pad Ka Pao with pork, which would be a good introduction to anyone used to Americanized Chinese food looking for something to eat, it's definitely Thai, but hits similar flavors that Chinese food uses. Cannot wait to come back.

The place was clean and the food was ok. Our bimbibap had old veggies from a few days old so it was kind of disappointing.

Phenomenal food, I'll start by saying that because it was truly outstanding. I've had Korean food a number of times and I have to say, Yami does a great job. The only time I've ever had better was in Chicago, and even then it was close. Aside from the flavors, the service was also great! Their faces were smiling and they expressed genuine interest in making the experience as enjoyable as possible. So why did I mark them off a 🌟? Short answer: the bathrooms. They didn't stink, and they weren't dysfunctional, but they could have been significantly cleaner. It's no deal breaker, and I still highly recommend eating here with friends, family, or on your own.

This place is okay. It’s good Korean food... but it’s not great Korean food. I’ve had better for less money. The service was friendly and relatively fast, and the atmosphere was fine. We had a stone bowl and a meat and vegetables dish, and neither was bad... but it just wasn’t worth the price.

Awasome restaurant! I've been to many Korean restaurants and believe me, this one is amazing. The taste, the service, and is very good price for a lot of food. If you haven't tried Korean before, you should, right in this place, there's not any other in Lincoln, but even if there would be another one, I would still prefer this one. Always amazing soup, amazing bulgogi, side dishes and the exceptional service joining all that, of course. At the end: a better than expected check too.

Atmosphere was nice, the server was by herself with a full house but she did a phenomenal job. Now the food, it was ok...it was not the best. Oh and make sure to ask for the side dishes. Cause that's what i had to do.They don't bring them with your order. Probably Will put this place on my first and last dining place.

There was hardly any ban chan with our meal and it was not good. Seriously lacking flavor. The service completely lacked table-side traditional barbecue. Korean food should be vibrant but our meal was quite bland. The meat wasn't tender. I have no idea how this meal for two could be worth the $60 I paid.
