Okome Asian Grill & Boba Tea | Gluten Free Restaurant

I am a new customer to this restaurant and what I will say is the boba and food here is amazing! Before coming to this restaurant, I went to another boba place nearby and it is nowhere near as good as Okome Asian Grill’s boba! The boba is the perfect temperature every time also. There are so many different boba drinks that you can order and I am sure those are just as delicious!(they have other drinks other than boba as well!). My friend and I bought a bowl and shared it, we both loved it and got full! It has perfect proportions and tastes amazing. It distracted me from knowing that I was eating gluten free food. They have a menu of bowls that you can automatically order or you can create your own bowl. The staff always greets me every time I walk through the door and is ready to take my order! It is a quick stop, they always get you in and out of there with delicious boba and gluten free food!( also very close to UK if you want to get food quickly!).

Stumbled across this spot after seeing it on TikTok and I’m so glad I stopped in! Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with tons of options to fully customize your bowl just the way you like it. The variety was impressive, and the quality stood out immediately. And don’t even get me started on the drinks — unbelievably fresh and absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend checking this place out!

⭐ Amazing Underrated Establishment... ⭐ Whenever I see people entering the nearby chipotle, I immediately have the urge to divert them here. Okome is a hidden gem in Lexington that offers 100% Gluten free Asian bowls and various milks and teas. The staff here is small, but they work very hard to keep the business running. They are also very kind, happy, and generous people. I am never disappointed when dining here. One of my favorite quick dinner/lunch spots in the city! #okomeforthewin!

My husband and I got married this past weekend and chose Okome because he has celiac disease AND because the food is out of this world amazing. William and his team traveled from Lexington to Louisville and arrived exactly when they said they would. Set up was extremely fast and efficient, especially considering they had to navigate through our cocktail hour full of guests to get from point A to point B. He was extremely polite, nice to talk to, and provided fantastic customer service. Our guests would not stop raving about how incredible the food was, and we had multiple people physically writing down the name of the restaurant so that they could come visit because they were so impressed!! Everyone took leftovers home. There was soooo much food, very generous portions. Thank you so much for everything, we are so grateful and so happy with how everything turned out!

Been here twice while visiting from out of town. Hands down one of the most generous portions for a bowl that I have ever had. Their combo spicy chicken with steak covered in spicy yum and spicy teriyaki is amazing. The kids and I all love peach drinks and they have a dedicated peach bobba tea section. Each one is great and made to order. If you like spice, the best thing to do is eat half of the bowl, save the rest for dinner and put it in the fridge. After getting cold, the spice levels increase and the flavor changes just a bit. It's like having an entirely different dish. Highly recommend.

My friend showed me this place and it is perfect. The food is cheap fast and very delicious. I went in and asked for extra noodles and they not only loaded me up with noodles but loaded my heart full of satisfaction and joy. I will be a lifetime customer. If I had the money I would pay to have this place in my house open 24/7 just so I could feed my gluttony from home.

Love this little eatery in downtown Lexington. This is a different take on poké bowls, but you can pick your base from rice, noodles and lettuce. I got the sweet potato noodles, which are clear like vermicelli noodles, and it was unique and amazing. The pricing is so very competitive, and they are cheaper than a lot of poké places.
