Shake Shack Lees Summit

Shake shack Never fails!. Staff is very fast here despite being busy. We tried the new milk shake on the menu and loved them! Also the passion fruit with the pomegranate mini boba is super flavorful!.

Recently visited this location with my two favorite guys. Your guesses are correct, my husband and son. My son is ALL about the truffle burgers - which if you know then you know, are limited edition. Aren't our favorite items always limited edition?!? Or discontinued but I digress. My husband had never had one and was eager to try it, so off we went. Me being somewhat a creature of habit - I played it safe and went with my "go to" which is the double Shackburger w/extra cheese, mustard, pickle, onion - Shack sauce on the side. I asked for the fries to be well done. My husband and son both ordered the Shake Shack Truffle Burger. Now let me keep it a buck here. As a self proclaimed cheeseburger connoisseur this is not one of the best burgers I've ever had but it was enjoyable. My husband and son both really enjoyed their truffle burgers. Our fries were cooked the way we like - no complaints there. My husband - poor thing - didn't realize the truffle burgers were limited edition and wanted to go to Shake Shack a couple of weeks later with our son to bond over their new found mutual enjoyment of the truffle burger. When my son informed him they were not being sold anymore for awhile - he was a cross between hurt, mad, sad and indignant. 😆😅🤣 The night we visited this location, Elijah took our order. He was very personable and his customer service was on pointl. He repeated our order back to us to check for accuracy and took our payment with a smile and a "thank you"! He asked us to pull over in the carryout space and promised to bring our order right out when it was ready. We waited a few minutes and Elijah followed through on his promise. When we arrived home to eat the food was still hot and fresh. Everything was prepared beautifully and we proceeded to devour our morsels. Elijah was definitely the highlight of our visit and made sure our food was prepared to our order specifications. He provided an experience that made me alter a previous review for this location because he worked to elevate our experience and repair the relationship for experiences we've had in the past here that weren't so pleasant. Perhaps they're working to turn things around and Elijah is a great step forward in that direction. So to quick1ly recap here, my husband is bothered he can't get a truffle burger for awhile. This isn't one of the best burgers I've ever had but it was enjoyable. You know it's not what you do but how you do it. Maybe the food tasted better this time because we were made to feel valued as a customer. Something to ponder.

Love their chicken sandwiches here. Was a little disappointed because the spicy chicken was gone, but the nice lady at the counter let me know they do promotional flavors. So I tried the Korean chicken good but not the spicy chicken. Cheese fries are always good. Not too impressed with the root beer float, the ice cream just becomes cream in the root beer.

Ok so, first off there was no men in the women’s bathroom very happy abt that. there was no paper towel in the bathroom also the bathroom stall gaps are insanely large be aware of the gaps the toilet rugs were nice tho, also the toilet were hard to flush also didn’t like the fact that the plants were fake the plants were plastic and plastic isn’t good for our environment. didn’t like the fact the shack shake logo was lgbtq+ on the cups also the lid holes where not centred and now to the food, BEST BURGER PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO 💯💯💯💯 best customer service and gave us a free burger no questions loved the interior and exterior very clean perfect view of the sunset sorry for my bad punctuation don’t forget to take a pic with shake sigma boy shack( linked photo in the description) LOVED the milkshakes and pond alssoooo forgot to mention the fries were bussin baby🔥🔥🔥🔥the fries even had a special forkkkk aaaaaeeee

Our experience here was less than stellar. The staff was disinterested and showed zero emotion. We ordered drinks (dragonfruit with Boba x 2) and received subpar lemonade. It was so expensive that we could've gone to a sitdown restaurant and received better food and service. Since we were only in the area for a volleyball tournament, we were really excited to try Shake Shack since we had seen great reviews online by vloggers. This was a grave disappointment. Also, don't slip on the greasy floors when you're going to the restroom that didn't have any soap [which means the employees didn't have soap when they exited the bathroom either]. 💀

We came at 9:45 to eat they closed at 10 they told us they were closing so they were baging our food to go and said we had to leave after we got our food I didn't think that was cool the manager said he didn't want to offend us by asking us to leave but I Said kicking us out was kinda of offensive. He said we could eat outside if we wanted to so we did. The chicken sandwich looked like the smashed it into the bag it was sad looking but we were outside so how could I complain so I ate it the bacon cheese fries were good, but they only gave me 3/4 glass of chocolate milk again sad. Have them a 3 but that was pushing it probably won't return thanks for the first time experience.

I definitely prefer the Leawood one as far as the taste of food and drinks. I got the exact same thing at this location and the flavor was just not there. It was very VERY greasy and the toppings were barely even on the burger. I ordered the smokehouse burger and it was supposed to come with fried onions and this place barely put any on there. I'm not sure if they had run out of bbq sauce but there was hardly any sauce on it. I also ordered a chocolate malt and it tasted like a warm Wendy's frosty. It was so gross. If I'm ever back out in Leawood I'll definitely stop in but I probably not be returning to this location as it was a big waste of money. You can see from the picture that there is hardly any toppings on the burger.
