If you like Korean fried chicken for their light breading to chicken ratio, this is not your place! I personally love crunchy thick breading bc that’s how I ate it growing up but it was too greasy and overwhelming for others in my group. Not sure if they messed up our order or if they need to differentiate their recipes but the Yangeom and buldak taste the same. Soy gangjung and soy garlic also taste the same. Gets a little tiring to eat similar flavors on repeat. Indoor seating is limited- maybe 3-4 groups max. Thankfully 2 people in our group got there faster and were able to put in an order/ grab tables for all of us. Otherwise, plan to take out.
Super delicious truly amazing My Korean friend and me we’re so happy
Absolutely delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The seasoning was spot on, with just the right balance of flavors. Every bite was bursting with mouthwatering goodness. Easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!
Didn't know what yangyeom was before but I saw someone else recommended it on the reviews. Went with the boneless version. WOW. Like really, WOW. It was so good, 2 other people around me couldn't stop stealing my food when I bright home a full order. Prices might be a little steep but this is 100% my chicken place on the Eastside moving forward. It won't be my everyday place, but it is absolutely my "bring an appetizer for the big game" contribution. Wing Dome can go kick rocks. Don't bother with the sides. Focus on the chicken.
We ordered the soy garlic, soy gang hung, yangyeom and original wings when we went. Everything was really good, the chicken came out so fresh and crispy and easily filled the stomachs of 5 people. Will definitely check out this spot again!
Edit: I value the staff reached out via the online order system and this review and offered to make it right, Im sure they learned from the super bowl sunday and will continue to serve the delicious food with great service Food is good but the service was awful, order way ahead of time for a pickup, got there and after waiting 40 minutes they had not even a clue of when my food was going to be ready. Not only wasted my time but ruined my event.
Wow. First time trying this place. The employee asked if we were new and what our spice tolerance was. I'd consider myself a 6/10 on the spice tolerance scale. Give me some spicy Asian food, but I'll stay away from the Chili competitions. He told us to try the one-pepper-rated Yangyeom. We did a half and half of Yangyeom and Soy Gangjung. I threw on an order of their shake shake fries too because they sounded interesting. I tried the Soy Gangjung first, and was really impressed. A nice, not overwhelming soy flavor and a really sweet sticky sauce. Made for some messy but really tasty wings. Then I switched to the Yangyeom. First time I've ever let out an involuntary "whoa that's good!" at a wing place. Man those are AMAZING. My son and I went through almost an entire full order. My lips are still tingling a little while writing this, but it was never painfully spicy. I'd recommend those to even the spice averse! This place is great. We'll definitely be back. Oh, and the shake shake fries? Why haven't we been putting cheese powder on fries since day ONE?! Soooooo good!
