Chubby Salmon Hibachi and Sushi Bar

The delightful young owners catered a big cocktail party for me serving 45 people with the most scrumptious beautifully presented food! I cannot rave enough about them! So friendly and warm to the guests, so professional- everyone kept asking who the caterer was. They were that fantastic! Visit their restaurant! It will become your favorite!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience I am beyond disappointed with the unprofessional and completely unreliable service from The Chubby Salmon Hibachi and Sushi Restaurant in Jupiter. We had a confirmed reservation for Sunday, November 2nd at 1:30 p.m. for a party of 25 to celebrate my son’s birthday. This reservation was made on October 23rd, and the manager personally confirmed that the restaurant would open early at 1:30 p.m. specifically to accommodate our large group for lunch. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. We called numerous times, but no one answered, and to make things worse, their voicemail box was full, so we couldn’t even leave a message. Our entire group was left waiting outside — no communication, no courtesy call, no explanation, nothing. We had to scramble at the last minute to find another restaurant that could take a party of 25 on a Sunday afternoon just to salvage our celebration. It was stressful, disappointing, and completely unacceptable. I’ve never eaten at this restaurant, so I can’t speak for the food. But if their food service is anything like their management and customer service, I can only imagine it’s just as bad. This was a total failure of professionalism and organization. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

What an amazing experience. The sushi rolls were exceptional, along with the cooked seafood choices. The atmosphere was warn and comfortable. The staff provided excellent customer service, and and ensured we had a most pleasurable dinning experience. Our family had a very enjoyable evening out to dinner. You must try the Rock Roll Shrimp and the Fried Banana dessert.

We were the only family here besides one other couple on a Saturday night. Hibachi was dry chicken and gave us stomach pains later in the evening. Don’t recommend. They must make all of their money on take out orders. Definitely not a restaurant to dine in and you could tell food was not that fresh or well sourced.

This place is such a hidden gem. Tucked in the back of the Plaza but somehow offering the best hibachi in northern Palm Beach County. I am gluten free and they had everything to accommodate my food sensitivity. The chef and staff are wonderful. Give it a try.

They only used one egg for the fried rice. The food was good not great. Rather empty for a Friday night so that was concerning. They could have put a little more love into the food. Clearly it was good

I hadn’t been to a hibachi place for years so decided to visit Chubby Salmon over the weekend. While the decor is a bit dated and the space could use some refreshing, we decided to let the food speak for the restaurant and boy am I glad we did. Myself and my guest ordered hibachi dinners and a sushi roll each. The sushi tasted fine, nothing special, but the hibachi was AMAZING! While the "cooking showmanship" was competently done, it lacked the flare "tricks" that many other hibachi chefs perform while cooking. He did do an onion volcano though. Where this meal shined was the taste. Everything in my shrimp dinner was expertly prepared and tasted phenomenal. All of the ingredients cooked just right, they gave generous portions of meat and seafood, and everything seasoned perfectly. This tasted like it he hibachi mean to end all hibachi meals. I honestly have no idea why there were so few other diners in this restaurant. Perhaps hibachi just isn’t popular anymore. Just by taste alone, this place should have a line out the door on a Saturday night. If you are in the mood for hibachi, give this place a try!!!
