Thai Time Thai and Sushi Restaurant

First time eating here. I enjoyed the food very much. I had the Khao Soi and my daughter had the Red Curry with tofu. Order green curry chicken to go for my partner. We were able to specify the spicy 🌶️ level, which is always good. Both meal were flavorful. My next choice will be the crispy chicken stir fry when I come back. The Thai tea didn’t disappoint! I will be back! Though I am not vegan, they have a vegan 🌱 selection on their menu.

My partner and I have eaten here numerous times because we enjoy the food here so much. We have ordered different dishes including appetizers, stir fries, and curriers each time we come, and have enjoyed them all. You can customize the amount of spice you want from a range of 0-5, which is nice. The wait staff has always been extremely responsive and courteous. They even have a section of their menu that is all vegan! We love that since my partner and I are both vegan, so they have lots of options for vegans (and therefore also many options for vegetarians by default). We never have a problem with the parking either.

Thai Time has quickly become one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Jackson, MS. Every visit is a reminder of just how exceptional truly great Thai food can be. Their dishes are consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care — but two menu items stand out above the rest: the pineapple curry and the crunchy chicken. The pineapple curry is perfectly balanced with sweetness, spice, and richness, and the crunchy chicken is so delicious and addictive that it’s almost impossible not to order it every time. But what makes Thai Time truly special goes far beyond the food — it’s the people. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, and the servers May and June are absolute stars. They make every visit feel personal and memorable, and their hospitality is one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back. Their friendly energy and attention to detail turn a great meal into an exceptional experience. If you’re anywhere near Jackson and craving incredible Thai cuisine served by some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, Thai Time is the place to go. Highly, highly recommended!

I was working in Jackson and wanted to drop some items off at a UPS store. Once that was done I searched for a place for lunch. I was wanting something that wouldn’t make me feel stuffed, I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me. I had a very nice lunch. The Thai Time soup was amazing as was everything else. Update: I had to return to the area this past week. Stopped in again. Had to have another cup of that Thai Time soup. Adding more photos.

Such a hidden gem in MS! The food is excellent and the inside is so clean and relaxing. Everything I tried had such depth in flavor, and everything was made fresh. The desserts didn’t disappoint either, the mango sticky rice had a good chew and wasn’t too sweet. Somehow they always have perfectly ripe mangos also! The ice cream went really well with the peanuts, both a perfect light treat after dinner. The Thai boba tea was freshly brewed and had great flavor, no powder mix here!

We ordered Thai Time from Uber Eats. I also got Tom Ka soup. We were so disappointed that the food was inedible. The noodles were straight mush and mine had the added disappointment of a burnt taste throughout. As a bonus my soup was watery, flavorless, and the coconut milk was completely separated. We first called the restaurant to explain and they could not have been less concerned! After putting me on hold multiple times an associate told me that it’s just the fresh noodles they use and management has received other complaints. Before they listened to my complaint they asked if I would call back because they were busy. They advised us to call Uber Eats for a refund. Uber Eats was pleasant when we called to complain and did refund our money. We are grossed out and no longer even hungry. I gave them three stars for atmosphere since I haven’t visited but can only guess.

Honestly, I love this place. I ordered the thai fried rice and fried shrimp roll and tasted some of the boom boom shrimp. This was my second time here and the food is fresh, tastes AMAZING, and the prices are decent. Not to mention the decor and the little details are what really make this the spot for me.
