I got the golden original whole chicken today. The chicken was fried well — crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. However, the moment I took a bite, there was a strong unpleasant chicken smell, which made it hard to enjoy the food. I’m not sure if the chicken wasn’t fresh or if this is just how it usually tastes, but it was very disappointing. This was my first time ordering from this location, so I’m not sure if this was just a one-time issue. I’m debating whether I should give it another try here or order from a different location to compare.

Our family has always enjoyed BBQ Chicken, but we were a bit disappointed with our recent order. We tried the Half-and-Half Whole Chicken Combo and the Soy Garlic flavor, but the chicken seemed under-seasoned and a little bland. The Soy Garlic, in particular, was a bit greasier than we expected. It feels like BBQ Chicken has lost some of the fantastic flavor we first loved, and our recent order was not as good as usual. We probably won’t be ordering from BBQ Chicken for a little while. Despite rising prices, BBQ Chicken has only increased by about $1 compared to a year ago, so we used to order from them quite often. We’re not sure if the chef has changed, but we hope the business owner can ensure the quality remains consistent. On a positive note, the cashier was very friendly.

Went there for the first time yesterday. Waited about 10-15 minutes for my food, and it came out hot and ready! I got the honey garlic wings with a side of rice. It was delicious! I will definitely be back.

This place is better than one in cypress. So fresh and juicy!! And extra crispy 🤤 server was really friendly and nice he was trying his best during the busy hour

Store was out of all alcohol, napkins, and multiple items off the menu. Facility was dirty and the restroom was not clean. Employee was nice but this location was very disappointing.

Good chicken! Been here twice, the first time I got the secret spicy flavour and the umami flavour was way too strong for me. The second time I got the Galbi seasoning and that was great, so I'm not sure if certain flavours are just way more intense (kinda salty too) or if it was just a one off thing. The fries are REALLY good, the the chicken itself is really delicious.
