ONNURI Korean BBQ

Really good Korean restaurant. The short ribs were cooked to perfection. The shrimp scallion pancake was very good. Would recommend as an appetizer. This is a great restaurant to visit if you want to try Korean food in Iowa city.

Jjangmyeon is one of my favorite korean dishes and there's is so good. I prefer a more aged kimchi but cant complain about the banchan they provide. I loved their sweet and sour chicken that I didnt get a picture of (not in a red sauce like chinese sweet and sour). I did not try the bulgogi but was told it needed more salt that day. Everything overall was delicious.

The food was delicious! We tried the bulgogi fried rice and japchae, both were really good. Server was extremely friendly and polite. Good portions for the price.

Authentic Korean restaurant that serves the classics like Bulgogi and Bimbibap! The Spicy Pork BBQ Rice is a must try!!! I tried it myself and I loved it so much! The table next to us loved it too and ordered another one!!! My friend got a Bulgogi Fried Rice (pic) , that was good too!

Had the spicy squid stir fry as the main dish with dumplings as a side. Both were incredible! Service was fast and friendly. Nice ambiance.

Lived in Korea for a year and love Korean food. If you're like me and love authentic Korean food, this is the place to go. Just make sure you make it very clear to the server to inform Ajumma in the kitchen NOT Americanize the food. Stay true! Plus, don't be stingy with Gochujang. Made me feel like I had to go next door to buy some. Lol. It's great with almost anything Korean especially bulgogi and rice wrapped in lettuce.
