Great food, somewhat more expensive if you have the BBQ (40$ per person), but worth it as the quality, quantity and freshness of ingredients was excellent. We had a combo and our server John was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests such as substituting with chicken, spicy sauces etc. The live hot grill experience at the table (with its little chimney) was loved by our 10yo and though usually picky, he enjoyed the crispy mandu potstickers, all the grill meats dipped in sesame oil+soya sauce and the mandu sauce, the soup. We tried beef, pork and chicken. Will definitely return to try more dishes

We drove 2.5 hours to eat at this restaurant. We picked out the Combo B. It comes with rice, soup, plenty of banchan that are on point. Great dipping sauces + quality meat. We definitely want to go back again!!! A shoutout to our server. Thank you for taking care of us.

Really good and delicious. The staff were nice and friendly, even helped us cook and gave us recommendations. Expect to pay about $60 per person though.

Hand down one of the best KBBQ places I’ve been. High quality meats and great selections. Service is friendly and attentive. If possible, leave room for dessert!

This place is new and honestly it’s one of the BEST KB OVER HERE! It’s clean, aesthetic , and DELICIOUS! Even the bathroom are nice 😂 I feel like the portions and presentation was definitely worth the price. The service was amazing , the employees are super friendly! On top of that they have an extended Hood so the smoke goes straight into the hood! I definitely rec this place. Unfortunately for me I live walking distance so RIP my stomach I’ll be here once a week LOL

Absolutely love Goong Korean BBQ! The food is delicious and always hits the spot. Service is great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. I really love that this place is family-run by a husband, wife, and their son; you can truly feel the care and pride they put into everything. The restaurant is also very clean, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend supporting this amazing family-owned spot!

We just ate here (Friday night) and I had to leave a review right away because we were blown away! The man serving us was super kind and attentive—amazing customer service. The food was delicious as well, price is on par with other Korean restaurants in the area. We enjoyed all of our food and side dishes as well, and will definitely return again! If you’re in the Forest Grove area there aren’t any Korean restaurants there, luckily this place is only 15 minutes away and will be my go-to spot from now on 🙂
