The Moon Korean BBQ & HOT POT | Best AYCE Korean BBQ , Hotpot, Shabu in Hackensack

Coming to this place for the first time with my family & everyone enjoyed it and loved the atmosphere. The service is amazing! I would highly recommend for people even if you’re just going to try it, you will not be disappointed! I’ve gone to others by myself and it doesn’t compare to this place! Ana was so sweet to my family since it was their first time and her service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back! And the other people are also sweet with recommendations and telling us how to navigate the cooking!

Ana is so sweet. We had a wonderful experience thanks to her. She treated our children with such kindness and patience, and she was equally respectful and attentive to my parents. It’s not easy to balance different generations at one table, but she did it so naturally and warmly. Her thoughtful service truly made our family meal special. We are very grateful and will definitely return.

There’s nothing better than a delicious hot pot meal on a chilly night. There are so many choices, it’s honestly overwhelming in a good way! I like that you get to walk around the buffet and pick your own seafood, vegetables, noodles, etc etc. Everything was so fresh, and meat was very tender. There’s also some cooked food including kimbap, ttokeboki, fried rice, wings, and soups. Everything I tried was delicious. Even their vanilla soft serve, which you’d assume to be basic, has something special in it. It almost tasted condensed milk flavored. They have a shaved ice bar, and creme brulee, as well as an assortment of fresh cut fruit to end your meal. Service here is amazing! When you’re cooking your own food, a lot of spots forget they need to offer any at all. Jerico guided us through our first Moon experience suggesting which delicious meats to choose from, and he was always checking in on us. Ana is such a ray of sunshine, she’s so attentive and sweet. I saw the way she took care of other customers and their kids too, she’s so kind and engaged. Can’t wait to be back and also give the Korean BBQ a try :))

This place is absolutely phenomenal! From the variety to the quality to the amazing staff — everything was top-notch. Jerico - that man deserves a raise! He was so kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our table had everything we needed. We came on a different night and Ana was our server and she was also absolutely fantastic — so kind and attentive and knew what we wanted before we even asked. The level of service you get here is incredible. Honestly, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. There was never a dirty plate on our table as the staff was extremely prompt in making sure that our table was always cleaned. The food was incredible. The ingredients were super fresh, the broths were rich and flavorful, and the meat and seafood were excellent quality. You can really taste the care they put into every detail. The sauce bar and side options were such a fun touch too — so many great combinations to try! And the options? Way too many and everything was amazing. Soups, cooked food, sauce bar, the unlimited bar of sides… truly incredible. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and lively without being too loud. Sandra was our server and we liked her! She has a good eye to ask us if we needed something or not and was very easy to ask questions with. Calm, clear and pleasant. Food is great! I always love galbi! Love all you can eat. Thank you!

First time visiting Moon Korean BBQ and we loved it! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host and the staff. Our server, Ana, was amazing — so attentive, mindful, and friendly throughout our meal. We ordered the Supermoon set (BBQ and Shabu), and everything was delicious and fresh. Even our 9-month-old daughter enjoyed the experience! Great food, great service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Maria at the front is excellent. It was our first time and she is so polite, friendly and a people person. You can tell she loves her job! Now in days that means a lot. So...thank you. Ana also who was our server, she was great and attentive.
