We had a girls’ night out here back in December, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. TJ was our server and truly made the night with exceptional service - he was super attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was delicious. We ordered the Ultra Galbi & Sogogi set and everything was incredibly flavorful, high quality, and perfectly cooked. From the service to the food, this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Gopchang Story Korean BBQ and we’ll definitely be back!

The decor is simple yet incredibly cozy. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the building—just go through the door on the right side outside the first-floor restaurant, and you can take either the elevator or the stairs. The whole place is spotless, well-organized, and beautifully modern in color and style. It’s perfect for family gatherings, friends, or couples. There’s plenty of seating, and if you enjoy a view, you can choose a spot by the window. The ventilation is excellent—no smoke or greasy smell at all during the BBQ! Their grill setup is completely different from anywhere else I’ve been. Instead of the usual bulky BBQ pan, they use a sleek, flat, heat-resistant surface that saves space and lets you comfortably fit plenty of dishes on the table. I absolutely love this design! We ordered the $64.99 Everyday Special Set, which was perfect for the three of us. It allowed us to try a wide variety of sausages, cold noodles, and fried rice—everything was delicious and plentiful. What made the experience even better was the lady who I believe is the owner. She was so kind and attentive—helping us grill and cut the sausages perfectly. Everything she cooked turned out so tasty, and the bite-size pieces made it easy to enjoy. Her service was truly exceptional! We couldn’t finish everything because the portions were generous, but I can confidently say this is a place worth coming back to again and again. There are so many great dishes to try—you’ll never get tired of it!

For the price, the portion is reasonable but the food is incredibly oily. Side dishes are super small so they’re always constantly taking away the side dishes away while eating. I’ve been to many places for gopchang and I understand that it is naturally oily, but the grease is unfathomable, to the point you don’t want to eat it. The stew is 100% better and is so good! The corn cheese was flavorless.. first time leaving a corn cheese empty.

Phenomenal. I lived in South Korea for over a decade and, since moving back to the USA, have really missed gopchang. This place has a lovely menu, great service, and an authentic atmosphere. We had a great time, a great meal, and hope someday to return.

Came here on a whim to check ot out and was not disappointed. From the cool view from the second floor to the awesome taste and presentation it was phenomenal. Good portions and the staff was very attentive/friendly. If in the area definitely try!

Fun and delicious Korean BBQ place. Great selection of beef, pork and condiments. Lots of food served for 2 people with fair price.

First time trying beef intestines and it wasn’t bad at all (I expected it to be very gamey). If you like chewy texture food then you’ll love this. The yuzu tomato balances out the grease from the intestines really well. P.S. Food portion is kind of big so don’t order too much 😬
