Fantastic fairly new AYCE place in OC. The place is big (took over souplatation old restaurant) with plenty of parking. They do have both indoor and outdoor seatings. The place decor is very trendy and farm like. Service is excellent, friendly, and attentive. Very teamwork attitude. The foods are very fresh, tasty and just perfect (depending on how you cook). We went here for dinner and we just love it. You can only have 3 meat plates per time and we only able ordered 4X and we’re just very full afterward. Definitely a place to go back for sure.

I got to give it to thirsty cow for the wonderfully curated menu and the quality selection of meats. When I saw the short ribs were limitless, I had to double-check with a server but lo and behold they were true to their word. Their service was impeccable once they checked up on the table constantly. The wide open space concept with earthy tones really makes you feel welcomed in the establishment. All in all, I think I have a new Korean barbecue spot going forward

I came here solo on a Wed night. I was worried they wouldn't allow a party of 1 as most, if not all, AYCE kbbq places require 2 people minimum. I thought maybe I would be let in if the restaurant was empty, but to my surprise, the place was packed! Nonetheless, I was seated within 5 min and proceeded with the premium selection. I wasn't able to try all the meat but here's my ranking of the meat that I did try: 1. Black Angus Hand Cut Short Rib (original) - definitely my favorite. The accordion cut makes cooking fast and the meat was super tender and juicy 2. Filet Mignon 3. Black Angus Ribeye 4. Wagyu Delmonico Steak - their thinnest cut 5. Black Angus Marinated Sirloin - I enjoyed the marinade but the meat wasn't as tender as I hoped. 6. USDA Prime Boneless Rib Finger - meat was chewy and tough to eat imo 7. Black Angus Woodae Galbi - this is smoked and the smell was amazing, but because it's a thick cut, it'd be best cooked over low heat. I didn't lower the temperature, so the meat turned out tough I didnt spend much time on the side dishes except the broccoli which was pretty nice. During my visit, I had about 6 servers checking in on me regularly making sure everything was good, changing grills and getting the next orders in. They were all courteous and polite! For my next visit, I'll definitely get multiple portions of the hand cut short rib (maybe try the Marinated one) and the other items on the menu!

Hands down the best all-you-can-eat spot I’ve ever tried! The meat quality was amazing, and the vibe of the place made me feel like I was on vacation. Such a fun experience—highly recommend!

1. The meat quality were good, and I really love the marinated sirloin! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a spacious interior! 3. The staff was friendly and attentive! They were able to make some good recommendations! Note: There is ice cream given at the end! Photo: Water, Side Dishes, Tofu Soup, AYCE Meat, and Thirsty Cow Blonde Ale

The quality of the meat is exceptional for an AYCE restaurant. The service is great, and overall it’s an amazing value for the price. Highly satisfied.

Service and atmosphere 5 stars. However, taking 1 star down for value and 1 star for ‘tiger prawns’ listed on the premium menu that were falsely advertised. We got shrimp instead. The premium meats were not considered premium at all without much marbling. The meat quality at other AYCE establishments at a similar price point is higher. Overall verdict is 3 stars — just average, at least when we visited when it just opened in West Garden Grove — during their soft opening. Not sure if the other Thirsty Cow location is better. If you do visit , I recommend not getting the premium and just go for the base. Premium level honestly sounded really good but when the food came, it was clear the titles/descriptions were all hype. Left feeling quite disappointed.
