Heartful Made

I was here after airsoft in Fullerton. I'm so glad of a Kimbop I received and eat it with my family. All of us really 😍 it. Price is way way cheaper and better service than that other Hankook kimbop place south of here. For my next group airsoft after. I would ❤️ 2 pay my money for group kimbop.

Homemade food with 100% organic vegetables. Finally OC gets an authentic Korean bento/doshirak & gimbap store! The food tastes great and fresh — not too salty or sweet. You can eat there or take it to-go for home/work, but it’s mainly for to-go’s. You can do group doshirak orders or catering ahead of time. The owner claims that they don’t sell any gimbab that is older than 3 hours for its freshness. And they have happy hours (after 6:40p) for 50% off of anything that isn’t freshly made (still same day made) within the hour. The price is reasonable and the owner is very nice. Highly recommend it for authentic homemade Korean doshirak or simple gimbap for single or group meals!

We went to Heartful Made today for the first time after reading great reviews and we are glad we did! They are super friendly and kept apologizing that we had to wait 10-15 mins for kimbaps. We ordered kimbaps and lunch boxes. They are both delicous! As the name said we felt like a lot of love and effort went into make these yummy food. We will definitely come back here again!

My wife and I were visiting the area. My wife wanted kimbop so I went to H Mart at 7:30 AM. Of course they weren't open that early so I had to find another place really quick. The only place that I found that was open at that time was this place. I went and ended up getting one of these lunch boxes instead of kimbop. I picked Salmon for my wife who does not eat much but very picky. She LOVED it. She wanted to go back there later. When your wife is happy, it is all good!

So.....disappointed!! I can tell that it's been more than an hour since Shrimp tempura was fried because it's even cold and too soggy, not crispy at all. But they keep saying it's fried right before i picked up...i don't buy it. I don't want to come again and wouldn't recommend to my friends and family. It's definitely not Heartful-made...

I think many review looks fake or Friend‘s, cause they are not kind (even rude) and food is not special. Last time, I was choosing kimbap at the store, but the owners were saying bad things about customers who weren't there, so I felt very uncomfortable. The other time, I heard they are screaming to someone (looks customer) over the phone. I don't want to get bad vibe from them anymore. There are many good Kimbap place around Fullerton and Buena Park, so I don't think I will go back to here.

Heartful Made is a small mom and pop shop in a little plaza in Fullerton. I passed by because the nearby Korean fried chicken restaurant was closed and wanted to try something else. I was surprised because my expectations were surpassed. Heartful Made is a quaint little room, but with a big personality. When I came in around lunch time, I was surprised to see that there wasn't a Google Maps posting. As such, I expected it to be pretty quiet; however, that was far from the case. When I was eating, there was a constant flow of people -- mostly Koreans -- who would enter and buy their food in bulk amounts. In fact, the demand often outpaced the supply and the customers often had to wait for more kimbap to be finished. Another thing that I really enjoyed was the pricing of the kimbap. I got two kimbaps -- the fishcake and the vegetarian one. Each kimbap was only $3.50 which was an amazing deal for the freshness and quality. Even if you were to go to a supermarket, they would charge maybe $5-6 for the same amount. As such, I was blown away by the pricing. Not only was the pricing very reasonable and affordable, the taste of the kimbap was great as well. There is a mixture of ingredients that are standard to your typical kimbap, but I also enjoyed how they spaced out the pickled ginger so that it would reset your palate if you were to eat the biggest pieces in the beginning and end. If you ask for kimchi when you order, they will hand you a small container for kimchi for free. While I didn't eat it, my brother did and he said it was pretty good. Overall, I was very satisfied with Heartful Made and would definitely recommend going here. It is a small hole in the wall, but I feel like it is a hidden gem in the middle of Fullerton.
