This place was a random find but a great one. They were able to sit us quickly on a busy Friday night. It seemed that the AC was broken but still was bearable. They got our food in and out quickly , everything we tried was delicious including the kimchie fries. The staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend trying this spot.
Food was amazing! I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap and the Taro Pina Colada which was very flavorful and creamy. The gochujang sauce is a nice addition to the beef bulgogi bibimbap. The sauce is a little spicy but has a very tasty flavor. My sister ordered the mild Ramon and it wasn’t very flavorful. Store ramen noodles have more flavor. Very quiet nice place to eat with a garage for parking just right outside the door. Cost for parking goes up by the half hour. 9/10 would eat there again just don’t get the ramen!
We were in town for my birthday weekend and came across Hoya in a Google search. Of the many restaurants in the area, I'm so glad we picked this one. The staff(owner) was super nice and made sure every part of our meal was great. We ordered bulgogi bimimbop, short ribs, seafood pancake, a Korean peach flavored alcohol, eggrolls and a mango ice dessert (sorry I don'trememberall of the names). I love Korean food and I'm an adventurous eater. My husband, on the other hand, is new to food exploration and is a picky eater with a ton of food aversions. He tried every item, including the 3 banchan served, and liked every single item! I also loved everything, but for him, that's saying something. For me, the top item was the short ribs, sweet, sticky and I would have eaten the bone if I could have. The ribs were served on a bed of cabbage. The heat from the plate and the drippings of the sauce from the ribs made the cabbage so flavorful, and strangely, one of my favorite parts of the meal. For him, it was the mango ice dessert. He woke up the next morning wanting to go back just for another one of those to go! The bulgogi bimimbop was so good! I love how the hot bowl makes the rice get a little bit crispy. All the ingredients were fresh and beautifully prepared. This was a great experience and a wonderful meal. We wish we lived close some could come back again, but next time we visit Ft Worth, we will!
Staying at the Aloft and this is across the street so decided to check them out today for lunch. The food is delicious and I’m planning on a few more visits to try the other menu items. I had the spicy chicken box today and everything was perfect. The service was great, I got mine to go today. Definitely recommend!
Hoya Korean Kitchen is a solid spot for a quick, flavorful Korean-style meal. The food comes out fast, portions are filling, and everything tastes fresh. I went with a bowl-style dish and it had a good balance of protein, rice, and veggies, with enough heat and sauce to keep it interesting without being overwhelming. The space is casual and easy, and the staff were friendly and efficient even during a busy rush. Not a "special occasion" place, but definitely reliable when you want something tasty and affordable.
The food was good but not great. I ordered the beef bibimbap and it didn’t have much flavor. All the flavors kind of muddled together, even with the sauce.
I love korean spots and this one has great food!! I got the spicy chicken combo box and their edamame. Great flavors and decently sized portions and quality for the price‼️ I would come here again for sure 😼
