HOLY COW!! We were here from South Bend and have been wanting to try the tenders for a while now. SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! We got the tender and fry combo with the Bok Bok sauce. So perfectly savory and crunchy!! We will be back for sure!!
Seoul Chicken is located inside Sweet Monster Ice Cream, you can order ice cream with your chicken if you'd like. The chicken itself was fantastic. Crispy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Pictured in my review are the Seoul Sassy wings. I also got the Korean Cheese Fries which were also great and the order filled the bowl. Overall 5 stars without a doubt. But admittedly it's very weird eating chicken wings inside of an ice cream shop when everyone else around is eating ice cream and my face is covered in sauce lol. Besides that I highly recommend giving them a try!
Sweet Monster delivers an exceptional fusion of Korean-inspired chicken and inventive ice cream that stands out in Fort Wayne. The chicken is impeccably crispy, with a thoughtful array of seasonings that elevate every bite—bold without overwhelming. Paired with what are hands-down the best fries I’ve encountered, crisp and perfectly seasoned, it’s a must-order combo. Ice cream presentations are visually striking, turning dessert into an artful finale. Service shines through friendly, diligent staff who clearly take pride in their craft. Yes, prep takes a beat longer, but the quality justifies every second. Solid 9/10—highly recommend for a crave-worthy meal.
We tried the K-Town Buffalo Wings, Korean Cheese Fries, and Cheesy Corn. The wings were meaty, crispy, and packed with great flavor—definitely the highlight of the meal. The fries had a decent taste and were nice and crispy, but they really needed some ketchup, which unfortunately wasn't available. The Cheesy Corn, however, was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it. Seoul Chicken is located inside Sweet Monster Ice Cream, which made for an awkward dining experience—eating fried chicken while everyone around us was having ice cream felt a bit off. Overall, good wings, but the atmosphere was a bit strange, and the other items could use improvement.
I went with a couple of coworkers on my lunch. Food was pretty good but we had to wait 1 hour and 10 min for our food. It didn’t seem busy, there was only one other order before us. The guy at the register kept saying "about ten minutes" when ever some asked how much longer.
We waited more than an hour for our food, which was completely unacceptable given that the restaurant was not busy prior to our order. What made it worse was that other patrons were clearly frustrated as well, some even walked out before being served. The long delay with no explanation or acknowledgment left us very disappointed with the experience. It must be said that the food was delicious.
This is an edit from the first. Got a carry our order today of three out of their four flavors of wings. All were delicious and crispy even after 15 minutes in the car. Only slight criticism is that they don’t let you split sauces when you order the 12 piece wings. You have to order multiple six piece to try each sauce. It’s kind of silly. I would like to come back, but it seems the owner doesn’t listen to customer feedback at all. Probably won’t bother again. With bad customer service it doesn’t matter how good the food is. Good luck!! By the way, you should offer your customers napkins instead of making them walk to the ice cream area to get their own. This is an amateur hour place. It’s a shame too because they have some great potential.
