Daebak Wang Mandoo Korean Dumplings

We enjoyed the food and the ambience at Daebak Wang Mandoo. The beauty of this place lies in its simple yet elegant ambience. The food was great, The dumplings are soft and exquisite. The roasted Pork dumplings left us asking for more. IWe have tried the sea food noodle soup, which was very very tasty, the perfectly cooked shrimp and calms were very juciy. I highly recommed this restaurent as a go to place for tasty korean food

My first time at this restaurant and I'm so glad we tried it! The spicy cold noodle soup was a refreshing treat, the handmade dumpling soup was rich and flavorful, and the black rice bun was a unique and tasty treat. Plenty of parking made the visit even more convenient. Highly recommended!

A true hidden gem! The dumplings here are so exceptional and the prices are laughably reasonable. The king sized dumplings are truly a size for royalty. The kimchi pork dumpling was the star of the show. They also serve regular pork and rice bean buns in the king size. The pan fried dumplings are exquisite and they are perfect to share with the table. Overall, you must visit this spot! The king sized dumplings are only $3.50 each!

First time trying and everything we got was wonderful. The fried dumplings were full on filling and wonderful in flavor. They even reheated well the next day since we bought too much. The kimchi king size dumpling was my favorite.

The food was so tasteful and huge as the restaurant name describes! The cold noodles are great to enjoy during the hot summer days; they add slices of sweet crispy apples to add a bit of natural sweetness in each sour bite. The buns were huge and super filled! Really loved both the fried kimchi dumplings and the kimchi bun. Finished off our meals with the black rice red bean bun as dessert, lots of paste filling that wasn’t too sweet. Yum!

My husband and I come here all the time—Daebak Wang Mandoo is hands down our favorite place to eat in Federal Way. The mandoo soup is absolutely perfect every single time. The dumplings have the ideal texture—tender yet hearty—and they’re packed with rich, flavorful filling. It’s the ultimate comfort food. The staff are always warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently fast and efficient. Highly recommend if you’re craving something delicious and satisfying!

Really good dumpling place! The fried dumpling reminded me of my childhood version in Korea! The two Wang (king) dumpling types (w/ and w/o kimchi) were both really good. We had he soup version of the dumplings also, which was good as well. It was interesting that the initial "drink" was not water but was their "soup base."
