Bap Jip (밥집)

It was our first time and we drove all the way from Woodinville to try out this place. It's definitely worth the drive for an authentic Korean food. It's difficult to find spicy braised monkfish in Seattle and there are few places but not that great or most places are overpriced. We will definitely try to come every month for other dishes and soups.

Food was super yummy and they were very friendly! Seafood pancake was amazing as well as the beef bulgogi. Just be a little patient as there were only 2 people doing all the cooking and waiting on tables. Definitely want to go back to try more.

It was our first time eating here and we ordered 4 different dishes. Every single one was so good! We really enjoyed the spicy braised pork ribs! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

Went there tonight, got intestine, squid, soup, and pork. Best Korean food I’ve had in all of Tacoma/federal way. We will be back. Moms cooking

Great, authentic Korean comfort food. We had the spicy army stew and grilled pork intestine, and the beef soup. The side dishes are all homemade and were very high quality. Staff was very friendly.

For two ladies, we ordered the sautéed spicy squid 오징어볶음 and fermented soybean stew 청국장 to share. Rice was cooked beautifully with beans. Banchans were all mildly seasoned so you can eat endlessly. Our orders came out quickly at 11:15 am during the weekday. It was comforting! The server was kindly checking on us on refills we didn’t really need. We ended up packing some leftover of sautéed squid. I’m excited to have this restaurant near me and I’ll be a frequent customer! *Gamjatang was not available when I visited.

Great new place! Amazing food and lots of it. My husband and I came for a dinner for two and had enough to feed 4-5 people. The food was flavorful and some of the BEST fried rice I’ve ever tried. A variety of side dishes and lovely hostess. There are two rooms, one in the front and one in the back, good for a date night or a group of friends. We’ll be back for sure will more people. Go check it out for new and good food!
