Fujiwara Tofu Cafe

A great hangout place. It is located right next to the 10 freeway. You can take the rosemead exit or baldwin exit to get there. Fedex is right next door and there is a starbucks right across. The theme of this shop is based on the anime initial D. Not your typical boba shop place because majority of their drinks are soy related. They also have initial D arcade machine for people to pay and play. It closes around 10pm everyday however it tends to get quite by night because alot of the store in the plaza closed early and the area is surrounded by office buildings and businesses store that close early. Their have soy related drinks and tofu pudding which its high recommended! Hot or cold regardless is one of their signature things to order!! Be aware though because sometimes they will host car-meet and on those days / nights, the plaza and surrounding streets are usually packed with cars so you won’t be able to find parking.

I love to stop by from a long trip from work during the weekdays. I go for specifically their stinky tofu more than anything. Lol. I’m on a goal to try all of their menu though. They’re drinks are all good, not so sweet like Starbucks, and the food, I prefer their fried tofu so far. My fave drink so far is the Iketani Sanpai! I’m not a fan of this anime but I definitely appreciate the theme and how it’s vegan too!! The flavors are really good and def a healthier choice over dairy.

I went to try their new matcha tofu soft serve (and also get one of their soy cream drinks). The soft serve was great, matcha flavor comes through with a hint of tofu. I like their soy cream drinks a lot, and their tofu desserts are all right if you like tofu pudding thicker because it's not super smooth. Still a good stop for some tofu flavored snacks and drinks!

The tofu pudding here is delicious, but unfortunately, the service is hit or miss. Some visits feel welcoming, while others don’t have the same vibe. I also had an experience where they combined containers to save on costs. I ordered four tofu puddings with brown sugar but only received two containers of brown sugar. While I understand the need to cut costs, when I politely asked for the sugar to be split into four containers instead of two, I was met with attitude and a frustrated sigh. It's little things like this that make me hesitant to return.

They have Tofu Soy Matcha Soft Serve Ice Cream!!! 🍦 🍵 AND ITS DELICIOUS! Went there late around 9:30 pm 🤭 Staff is still super sweet! Was informed that soft serve ice cream is non-dairy and vegan! 🫶🏻💕Soft serve and drinks are not too sweet l, perfect for my Asian taste buds, you can do no added sugar level too for drinks! They also have yummy crispy and chewy fried tofu and spicy braised tofu! My fav after movies / dinner late night spot!

If you're an Initial D fan then rage your dream and stop by the shop! I ordered the speed stars drink and spicy tofu. I enjoyed the drink. It has a good flavor with a thick not too rich caramel. The spicy tofu was just the right temperature to eat right away and the spice level was perfect. My wife got Impact blue and fried tofu. She said the drink tasted like "nothing" I tried it and agreed. There really wasn't any stand out flavor. The fried tofu must have been good, because I didn't get to try any lol! No 5th star just because some seats and tables were just a bit too worn to be aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely go again.

Cute and delicious! Big Japan vibes, gave me flashbacks. Tofu is superb- chewy and the drink was creamy. This is not like starbucks- it is distinctive and if you do not know what a tofu drink is, expect a beverage with a complex flavor, not just syrup. The staff is quite nice and if you know the anime or manga, it's a destination cafe!
