I stopped by this place because it was close and it had been a min since I've eaten at a Korean restaurant. So glad I did! I looked at the menu online before going in so I already knew what I wanted. As soon as I came in the door with the waitresses and the staff were very polite and greeted me. I ordered the bulgogi and the kimchi pancakes. Took about 12 minutes maybe to get my order which wasn't very long at all. The place had a very chill vibe and I'll definitely be dining in next time. The food smells amazing so as soon as I get out to the car I had to check it out. The bulgogi was awesome i definitely would get that again. When I opened up what I thought was the kimchi pancakes I realized it was one ginormous kimchi pancake that looked absolutely delicious and tasted even better. If you like Korean food this is a place to go.
Wonderful spot that hits the Korean craving. They have all the classic dishes you want and then some. Place was very clean, neat and organized. The staff was very polite and attentive. Nothing taste better than a delicious, piping hot bowl of kimchi stew on a cold, windy day!
Great spot to grab lunch or dinner. The food here is great and the service is phenomenal. They bring your food out relatively fast and it fresh and tasty. Stop by if your close.
I paid $9 for a bowl of instant ramen with a spice packet. I was hoping for something a bit more authentic. Thankfully, the chicken bulgogi made up for it.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. When we first walked in, no one greeted us or acknowledged our presence. The staff continued doing their own tasks without any eye contact or welcome. After waiting, we assumed we could seat ourselves. Only then were we redirected to another table — which would have been completely fine — but instead of simply guiding us, we were lectured about how "in America you must wait to be seated," in a condescending tone. It felt like we were being scolded, even though no one had initially assisted us. The situation with the aprons was even more uncomfortable. I asked for three aprons. Instead of simply providing them, the server looked the other two guests up and down and asked, "Why?" I asked why that question was necessary, and the response was, "You probably don’t need them," said in an irritated tone before reluctantly handing them over. It felt judgmental and unnecessary. No customer should have to justify asking for basic items. The most shocking part was the tipping situation. Because of the service, we chose not to leave a tip. We understand tipping is customary in the U.S., but tipping is based on service quality. Instead of respecting our decision, we were lectured again about American tipping culture and repeatedly pressured to add one. Tipping should never be forced or demanded. As we were leaving, staff members loudly commented within earshot, questioning whether asking "why" about the aprons was wrong. That public remark was humiliating and deeply unprofessional. Additionally, while we were still sitting at the table, we were presented with the check and told, "You’re done eating, so we can clear this, right?" which felt rushed and dismissive. We are Korean customers who dined at a Korean restaurant, and being treated this way by our own community made the experience even more disappointing. Hospitality should make guests feel welcome — not judged, lectured, or pressured. We will not be returning.
it was cold and rainy so i decided to get some korean army stew for takeout, and it was so good i might make it a tradition - the dinner portion is HUGE, im gonna be eating on this for the next few days! (side note: the banchan and rice came with it free of charge!)
It was my first time in here and really liked it. We stopped by during lunch and they were able to get everything out to us super quick as well.
