Absolutely loved this Korean restaurant in Duluth! The food was outstanding. The beef and tofu soup was especially amazing, rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, nice and soft, which paired so well with every dish. They also had a great selection of appetizers and an impressive variety of soups to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. Service was excellent; attentive, friendly, and welcoming without feeling rushed. The ambience inside the restaurant was really pretty and calm, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Jan was amazing! Us girls popped in for lunch today to see what all the reviews were about. We’ve had Korean food before, so we had an idea of what we wanted. Enter Dobu Gongbang. Our server was Jan. She knew the menu well and explained it effortlessly. She was kind, relatable, answered all our questions, was quick & efficient. The food was delicious, authentic, not salty, & left nothing to be desired. I went for a girls’ lunch but I’ll be returning for date night! Thank you for a wonderful experience today Jan & Dobu Gongbang staff!

My husband and I literally drove from Nashville to Atlanta just to go to the Korean sauna and eat here 😅 He had been before and loved it, but it was my first time, and WOW. I was honestly shocked that this place wasn’t PACKED, because the food, flavor, and service are next level. From the moment you walk in, the decor is absolutely beautiful. Every little detail feels so intentional and well thought out. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. And the food… OMG. SO flavorful. SO good. We had the wraps (kind of like a long mandu) and they were amazing. I ordered the spicy soondubu and loved it, and my husband had the eel, everything was incredible. I truly hope this place is packed every single time we come back because they 100% deserve it. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Have you walked into the wrong restaurant but stayed anyways because of the ambiance of the place? That's what I did. I was supposed to meet my nephew at the Chili Spot but accidentally walked in through the wrong door. I rarely walk into the wrong restaurant but glad I did because this place is so hip and modern. Speaking of atmosphere, the spacious ness of the place, the modern decor and vibe makes dining in a relaxing experience. The food was delicious. Here's what we had: SOON DUBU + PORK BBQ 순두부 + 목살구이 Choice of your soft tofu stew with stir-fry pork in soy-based sauce SOON DUBU + LA KALBI 순두부 + LA갈비 Choice of your soft tofu stew with marinated short ribs. We loved the combo along with the banchan (반찬). The service was stellar. Our waitress, Jane was attentive,professional and patient. She answered all of our questions and made great suggestions. Go check them out if you are looking for delicious food and excellent service.

❤️ 두부공방 DUBU GONGBANG in Duluth, GA! It is hidden-Gem with all the sweet, attentive waiters and waitresses. It nestled between the dumplings house and Chinese chili spot. They made Tofu in house and Vegan friendly. Highly recommended. I love Kimchi Tofu Soup, Tofu, BBQ Pork, Multigrain Rice and Japchae!

Overall Solid, busy Korean tofu spot with good service and a cute, clean vibe. I came in extra excited because they make their own tofu, but the food leaned more modern and Americanized than I hoped, so I can’t give it a full 5. Price and value Pricing felt average for today’s economy. Not cheap, not outrageous. The in house tofu is a cool value add, even if it didn’t fully hit the "wow" level I’ve had from tofu shops in Korea. Food and flavor The biggest thing to know: the flavor profile felt more catered to modern tastes that are sweeter and spicier rather than the more traditional OG style. That’s not "bad," just different. If you’re expecting Korea level authenticity and balance, set expectations accordingly. What to order Best bet: stick to the OG sundubu stews, especially the spicy options. That’s where this place shines the most, and it’s the safest way to have a satisfying meal here. What I’d skip The pancakes were not worth it to me. They felt too thick and batter heavy, with not enough filling for the flour ratio. I’d rather spend that stomach space on stew and tofu focused dishes. Service Service was pretty good. Staff was attentive and the overall experience felt well run. Atmosphere and wait Atmosphere was cute and clean, but it’s very popular. Expect a wait unless you make a reservation ahead of time. Recommendation If you’re in Georgia and craving a more authentic leaning Korean tofu experience (by US standards), this is worth visiting. Just go in knowing it’s more modern, sweeter, and spicier than traditional OG style. Order the OG spicy sundubu stews, skip the pancakes, and you’ll have a much better time.

We went to Dubu several times and no doubt this place offer good quality meal with reasonable price. We love the black sesame tofu dish and the tofu mushroom soup as the vegan options. All the dishes were good. We went there during lunch time on one of a Saturday and the place was pack but the waiting list was offered and only wait for around 20 mins to get us a table which is nit bad considered the long waiting kist they had for that day. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. Sometimes, if you sit all the way in the back of the restaurant after lunch, you can smell the strong fish scent which is understandable for the place with lot of dishes with fish. Other than that, everything is good and we will probably come back here many more tome when we are in town.
