DZÔ Korean BBQ

This was a truly fun dining delight. My host Kenny walked me through the options and process for cooking your food right at your table. You can also have them cook your meal, but doing it right at your table is interactive fun. My favorite items in order were: Beef Bulgogi Short Ribs Pork Belly Tri Tip Shrimp The flavor profiles were spot on for my expectations. Make it a date night, bring the kids.. just make sure you treat yourself and experience DZO Korean BBQ

Very cute place, the food was great. The only thing was there was one server to the whole place at the time we went (1pm) and it got busy. But our orders were perfect and delicious!

Friday lunch after morning spent at doctor's appointments without breakfast. Got the lunch combo. The banchan is delicious; kimchi, daikon, cucumber kimchi - all smack! Short ribs, bulgogi and KFC Korean Fried Chicken 2 ways (gochuchang and soy) were all so tasty and filling. The meats have a delicious marinade that endures the BBQ, to deliver yummy bites. I got the veggie platter as well because health is wealth, yall. I did half orders so i coukd sample the goods! I believe Kenny was helping me by answering all of my questions and offering excellent suggestions from the menu. He was fast, friendly and on top of everything. The green tea was a great defroster for my chilly arrival. After stuffing myself, I looked over the menu for my next visit and believe the bibimbap is calling to me! Great time, great food, throwback remixed music and a solid staff. 5!

WOW!!!! The food and experience was beyond what words could describe. Alex was our server and did an amazing job explaining the process with ordering the food and cooking it. He stopped by many times to check in on us, as we were first timers. If you’re looking for a fun date idea or just something new, check this spot out you won’t be disappointed. 10/10

Wonderful food & experience! The Korean fried chicken appetizer is absolutely incredible! They carry Revelton spirits that we love! The flavor profile of their cuisine is perfection. The waiter we had was very personable and friendly - what a great restaurant!

GOOD Lunch time improv. Great recommendations from our server Joe B., I asked him one of my favorite questions, "What do you get?" I was not disappointed with his regular meal. It was a creamy pasta and pea dish w/ an Asian twist. The BBQ fried chicken appetizer was nice. Got a great sake shot, too! Can't wait until we come back and use the BBQ side of the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dzo Korean Restaurant with my family when we were visiting from out-of-state. I was surprised to find a Korean restaurant in Iowa! Dzo exceeded expectations on all fronts. From the moment we walked in, I felt at ease seeing other Asians eating there. That’s a great sign and I want expecting that at so! And the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The quality of the meat was outstanding. Every cut—from the Wagyu to marinated short ribs to the pork belly—was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. You can really tell that Dzo takes pride in sourcing high-quality meats, which is hard to find these days with soring food prices. I felt like the price at the end of the meal was well worth my hard earned money. Their service was great! The staff was attentive without being overbearing, and refilled our drinks and the banchan promptly. The owner even introduced himself and chatted with us at the end of our meal. Thanks, Dzo! I’ll definitely be returning someday when I’m back in Iowa.
