Uncle Bits

Hardly anybody there for lunch today. So naturally, they sent me all the way across the other side of the restaurant, never asked me if I wanted a table or booth. I wanted a booth. They seated me at a table. I asked if I could please have a booth for me and my two guests that were arriving. And that set in motion a pissed off server. I saw that was going nowhere so, I moved myself to the side near the exit. Got a new server with a good attitude and things were right after that.

Stopped in today because my husband is ill and would like some food. I encountered one of the nicest people. I believe it was a Mr. Will. What a charming man. He turned out to be an assistant manager. He took my order, got my order in a timely fashion. I've seen managers at different restaurants run when the first get to work. They clock in, pass the buck and disappear. Mr Will could have don't this but didn't. He was polite, courteous, smiled and even talked about more than just the food. These actions of Mr. Will are called hospitality. He not only serves but does it in a welcoming way. I look forward to seeing him again. As a matter of fact, when I do go back, I'm looking for him. Thank you for today Mr. Will.

I order carryout from here a lot. Today I ordered a country breakfast biscuit and asked for no cheese. The guy taking my order over the phone confirmed no cheese. I got there to pick up my order and while waiting, all the employees were goofing off and not taking anything seriously. Wouldn't be a big deal of I didn't get cheese when I asked to not have it. Maybe the grown men working behind the counter should focus more on order accuracy instead of flirting with each other and calling other men "sis" 🤮 I won't be back to this location.

Me & my 7yr old tried to come sit down & eat but when we walked in the hostess didn't say hi bye one moment nothing so we to the bathroom went back to see if can be sitted still nothing so I spoke out hello what did we do wrong that noone has recognized me or my child to the point as soon as the people behind us walked in they got a sit. Then the hostess went over a spoke to the manager as I'm waving the manger down still nothing. To the point that another waitress walks over & finally ask how may I help then I said I want to speak to the manager before she finally came over. As all this is going on I'm watching one of your Cooks over by the food blowing his nose but thank goodness he washed his hands huh ? So if your hostess doesn't like or want to do her job she needs not to because that affects the servicers tips. Between 12:30pm-1pm 11-24-25 watch your cameras.

Had a great mid-morning meal there. Food was so tasty and I was stuffed afterward. Service was top-notch too, really friendly. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Will be back for sure.

So me and my wife and her friend stopped here to get food. When we got there their was only 1 other group which after sitting down next to there table was the waitresses family. It was very cold in there and sat us at the table closet to the door. Waitress at what we would like to drink, brought drinks to us and we told her we was ready to order. We ordered our food and order biscuits and banana nut bread for appetizers. After whating about 5 minutes she came back by our table to talk with her family and we asked if we could get our bread and biscuits. She said yes and brought them and walked off after a few minutes she was going back to talk to her family and we asked if we could have our silverware so we could put butter on our food so we could eat it. She did. Half the biscuits were hard but we didn't say anything. The food showed up and everything was cold. My wife and friend ordered soup and sandwich and both wasn't even close to warm. Mashed potatoes and corn and chicken I ordered was cold but I don't like to complain so I just ate it. Corn didn't even seem cooked. To the point of the review is watch out when you go to pay. The cashier tried scamming me out of 5 dollars. My receipt said $44.36 and I had $45 already out. She said $49.36. I said ma'am my receipt says $44.36. said looked at the computer and said O it's the tax. I said could I see my receipt. She still just stood there and said well this is what the computer says. I could see my receipt and I said my bill is $44.36 and I clearly see tax is already added. She said let me get the manager. He was walking up already. I said how is it saying I owe more then what my receipt says. He looked at the receipt and then the girl gave him the $49.36 receipt and said this is what came up. I said how would it be $5.00 dollars more. Manager still wouldn't say anything. I said do I owe $44 or do I owe $49. He grabbed the $45 and put it in the register shut it and still said nothing. I said are we good Is my bill $44.36 or $49.36. He said it's all good. So I guess they don't give change back and can't explain why I was over charged $5.00. Since the manager couldn't speak I can only assume the cashier was over changing me and I was to be ok with it. Just watch out when your paying your bill and maybe tell them before hand that you like your food warm, not cold. I guess they go off the sign they display ( buy cold and take home and warm up) At least I will know not to expect hot food there if I ever go back.

I had to get food replaced just to be let down worse than before. First i ordered 3 egg meal with well done bacon. The bacon is low quality to begin with and it was barely cooked. The homefries smelled and tasted like old dirty grease. The second time. They are VERY KIND but the cook is sloppy and im appalled at the lettuce i got on my blt it was slimy and dark green on my frwnch toast it was barely edible becauae it was soggy and the bananas were browning. Literally. Like what ? Over all the mangement and servers were very kind.
