Customer Reviews
Lebowski's Taproom has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 967 reviews on Google
The food was pretty decent. I hate to leave this review to begin with. I had much higher hopes. I don’t know if maybe it was an off day? Our waitress… she was nice but there were some issues. I got a drink I did not like (my fault for asking her and her saying well ones hot and ones cold, I asked for the simple fact of flavor) which already was off putting. We got the shark coochie board which mind you was $22 of the bat. We didn’t end up eating much of it because we did get a lot of other food. The burgers were fantastic but mine was sooo messy (got an egg on top) and only had like 3 napkins. My fault again. When we were checking out I was putting the charcuterie into a to go container and found a fuzzy, I don’t like to complain but I had to say something. She picked it out and told me it was a fuzzy - which yes, I understand but have never had a waitress in my entire life say what she did. I honestly was appalled. She also told me I could take my alcoholic drink home, which I was not going to do because it was not good. I don’t know. A pretty big let down. We tried it, we shall never be back. We also waited soooo long just to get checked out and leave. Good luck, cool concept, I’m sure great for some people, just not us. Anywho like I said, good luck 👍 great burgers though - I hate leaving reviews like this. Maybe it was just an off day. Went for our anniversary only to be very underwhelming.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating and let me sit out on the patio with my pup even though it was a little chilly. Great mountain and sunset views. About 10 min drive from garden of the gods. Their hot winter drink with lemon wine and cranberry was delicious. Ordered the jalapeño poppers and the chili to eat. Both were yum but chili was very spicy so be careful if you don’t like spice.
Came here for lunch. David the owner said HI to us & shared with us his coffee liquor proudly made here in Colorado Springs. The food was amazing, the view of the mountains outside, & dog friendly. They have a fun menu. I ordered the bunny, its a grilled cheese & it was 🔥 fire, smthn about that jam n special cheese. The corn riblets had a yummy seasoning & sauce on them. My coworker got the burger. The waiter is a cool dude.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolute gem – truly dog-friendly and unforgettable After being turned away from several places in Colorado Springs while trying to dine with our dogs, we were honestly feeling discouraged. We were just looking for a welcoming place to enjoy a good meal with our pups by our side. Then we found Lebowski's Taproom, and everything changed. We actually traveled for hours to visit and experience this place, and what we take with us is not just the food, but the incredible treatment we received here. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such kindness and warmth. The staff made us feel genuinely appreciated, not just tolerated. They were attentive, friendly, and truly dog-friendly, which made the experience even more special for us. The atmosphere was fantastic, relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying a meal. And the food… absolutely amazing. The burgers were so incredibly good that we honestly forgot to take pictures because we were enjoying them so much. We don’t even live here, we’re visiting from out of town, but this place made such a strong impression on us that we had to leave this review. If you’re traveling or living in Colorado Springs and looking for the best place to eat with your dogs, this is it. Amazing food, outstanding service, a great atmosphere, and a team that truly makes you feel welcome. We will absolutely come back and recommend this place to anyone who wants a great dining experience with their pets. Thank you for turning a frustrating day into a wonderful memory 🐶❤️🍔
I took my family there tonight. Our server was Trey who informed us (as 1st time visitors) that this place is locally owned by a woman and everything is made from scratch and would have "unique flavors"! We ordered fried pickles & mozzarella sticks for appetizers and my fiancé ordered a "S'mores Russian" They're were 5 of us and everything was insanely delicious, from the pickles to the sandwiches to something as simple as the fries! The entire time 90s music was pumping subtly on the speakers. The entire staff was very polite and my kids said the food was "bussin, bussin!" I love in Lakewood and was here visiting my family. We chose the place because the price wasn't crazy and it was close to our hotel. We definitely discovered a hidden gem. Thanks to Trey for his outstanding service! I highly recommend this place!
The service is absolutely what sets this place apart. Outside of that, I had an absolutely delicious Impossible Burger (they substitute Impossible or black bean for any burger!) and then of course to top it off, one of my favorite movies! Will absolutely be back.
First time trying this spot and we really enjoyed the food and service. Burgers were cooked great. Juicy and seasoned.
