I’m all for a flashy, busy night out on the town, but sometimes I just want a chance to sit down in a warm and cozy atmosphere, drink and laugh with my friends, and share plates of delicious food. Masija is a sojubang - so it’s a place to do exactly that! The interior is cozy, cool, and ambient, and the spacious booths were perfect for our group of 4. We probably could have fit a few more if we wanted to. The food and drinks were all really delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal and we had quite a few leftovers to take home. We tried: To drink: 🍷 Bok Bon Ja - Raspberry Wine 🍶 Lychee Soju To eat: 🦑 Fried calamari (on the house!) 🍠 Sweet Potato Nest 🥟 Fried Pork Dumplings 🌽 Sizzling Corn Cheese 🍲 Budae Jjigae (Army Stew) 🥩 Galbi 🍴Tteobokki 🍗 Chicken Wings 🦑 Spicy Squid My favorites were the budae jjigae, the tteobokki, the sizzling corn cheese and the spicy squid. Their soju was juicy and strong, and the lychee flavor was great. You can’t go wrong ordering here though and they’re sure to share some good recommendations with you. My advice is to grab some drinks, order a few dishes that catch your eye, and then order more as needed. Their menu is large and the prices are fair for the portion sizes. The ingredients are of super high quality and are all more than enough to share. Even with all the drinks and food we got, it broke down to about $60 a person. After we got our food, we realized we definitely could have ordered less, but it was all so delicious I don’t know if I would have wanted to 😉 Thank you so much to Kim, our server, and to Yunis, the owner, for giving us the rundown on what to order. I just came here with my sister for dinner and the owner is so nice and they have amazing service. They have classic and authentic Korean food and it’s very tasty! Definitely my new go to place!!

I went there last week with my friend, and my experience wasn't the best. The customer service was good. Our server was really nice and attentive. The food was 1/10. We ordered 2 drinks and about 4 dishes to try, fish cake soup, spicy chicken with cheese, seafood pancake, and stir-fry squid. The total came up to about $140-$150 before tip….which is crazy!!! Especially when it tasted like that bad. We can go to a high-end Korean restaurant for that price. Their food from their other location in Pinville Gmart is better. I wish Charlotte had a real authentic Korean food; like if the menu says "spicy chicken", it should be spicy, not sweet and bland. Anyway, I am really disappointed. This is more of an Americanized Korean restaurant. I’m glad we went there to give it a try but that was our first and last time. I would not recommend to people who are foodies and know or have had good Korean food.

Love this place and will go again! It was 2 of us. We got the army stew, ribs, and corn cheese. We also got soju. These are shareable items as they give you a lot! It was about $60 for each of us before tip. We had a lot to take home.

The food was so delicious, the place was cute and clean, and service was impeccable. We will be back!
