GALBI BBQ & HOTPOT

I'd second a few other reviews - this is the absolute best hotpot / Korean bbq in the area. I love the fact that both are combined in this setting - plenty of options for everyone at the table (some leaned more meat heavy on the grill, others more noodle + seafood heavy on the hot pot). It's also nice having individual hot pots so everyone can pick their own base soup. The real star to me was the massive buffet (for this type of restaurant) - plenty of salads and deserts, tons of sauce / toppings options, and an enormous array of seafood. Atmosphere is also really cool. It's like a whole different world walking through the doors. The robot delivery is also a really awesome touch. They've got so much variety that I'm already craving going back again to try even more things- I barely made it through maybe 10% of what was offered. This is certainly getting added to our normal rotation of restaurants!

My first visit was this past Friday. My 2nd one yesterday, Monday. I hopt that conveys how impressed with this venue I am. Also, I have plenty of experience with all of the local KBBQ AYCE places. So, it's not my first rodeo around the concept. The Galbi is great! I've had two great servers so far, also...Hung, and Sky. You order your meat and/or hot apps with your server, but a little droid brings the food to your table. "Enjoy your delicious meal" LOL. You have walk-up tables as with a buffet for all of the banchan array, and items for your hot-pot selection. Pro-tip here: Many of the hot-pot items work on your grill, too! Fish balls, shrimp balls, mushrrooms, fish, veggies, shrimp, squid, etc etc. There are over a dozen different dipping sauces, also. If you are old-hat with KBBQ, you should love it. If you have not ever TRIED Kbbq...it may spoil you.

Best hotpot in AZ hands down!! I felt like I was in Seoul with all the cool and beautiful decor. The staff was extremely friendly, our waiter explained the menu very well and kept coming to our table to check if we needed anything else. The food was beyond delicious with all the mouth watering korean flavors and I appreciated the huge selection of veggies, meats, seafood, desserts, etc!! The whole experience was amazing♥️

Our server Bob was attentive, informative and very confident in his service! We were never left without a drink, asked if we needed extras, checked on us often but not too often to make us feel like my date and I couldn’t talk to each other. He was fantastic and we will be back and requesting Bob if he’s available!!!

Galbi (or Kalbi) is a popular Korean dish of grilled, marinated ribs, with "galbi" meaning "rib" in Korean. Imagine our surprise when we came here for lunch and galbi/kalbi was not offered on their lunch menu. What!? The AYCE lunch KBBQ option is $22 but you can add-on the AYCE hot pot part for $5 more. The whole table has to agree whichever option. And since majority of our table had holiday dinners later on in the day (we went on Christmas Eve), we only did the KBBQ part. Options were limited, as their lunch menu is obviously more abbreviated, and quality was okay. I like that they have a salad, dessert and sauce bar you can help yourself to. You order with a server and a kitty cat robot brings you your food. I'm not really big on AYCE places in general since I'm not a big eater but at $22, you really can't complain.

My daughter and I are always looking for new places to eat and try new things, this place was definitely different for us . We got both the hot pot and BBQ for $35 each . I wish we got a run down on what we needed to do , but we managed . We will be back .Jaybe was our server . He was great

SUCH AN AMAZING SPOT!! My husband and I have been here a couple times and they haven't disappointed us yet! Our favorite is the beef tongue, and we always do both hot pot and kbbq. Overall a little expensive but DEFINITELY worth it. We've had two different waitresses, both of which were SO accommodating, and the second time we went a robot brought us our food which was so fun. Pro tip, you can ask that your waitress or the chefs make the sauce you dip in if you don't know what would be good.
