Had lunch at Honest Grill and really enjoyed the atmosphere — soft background music, wine-inspired décor, and neatly served side dishes made it feel like a fine dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. I tried the marinated beef short plate; the flavor was nice but the meat was a bit tough. Overall, a great place for anyone looking for an elegant, relaxing meal.

Free parking, takes credit card and inkind as of review. During weekday there are some special offers. Try those to save money. But those will not be available during holidays so be aware. Server will cook your meat to the level you like. Not much of smoke as the ventilation is well, so you probably will not be smoky after the meal. Meats are good quality.

wait despite having a reservation, the server forgot to turn on the grill before putting meat on, naengmyeon came at the end of the meal, and another waiter was tossing meat onto our plates. the photo shows the small portion size for 5 people this visit. i get its valentine's day but the restaurant was clearly overbooked and overworking their servers. this pacing is normally okay at all you can eat places but for $310 the service should be a bit better. we've been coming since they opened and service has been declining. we were sad thinking this might be our last time

I had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious—everything came out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what really made the night special was our server, Mar. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made us feel so welcome. Her warm personality and genuine care really stood out. Highly recommend this place—and if you come, ask for Mar! She truly made our evening memorable.

I find that most Korean bbqs in NOVA are expensive. I wouldn’t mind it it was tasty. It feels like an attempt to "upscale" the food and it’s impacted the taste. I came late one night. My sister and I ordered the signature beef and opted for the brisket. We order scallops as an appetizer and kimchi jiggae and shishito peppers as our sides. I asked for garlic and jalapeños with the brisket. Once I realized the server was burning the meat and not cooking the brisket with the garlic and peppers, I informed her I would cook the rest. The scallops were good hence the two stars. The jiggae was kind of sweet. The meat was a bit fatty with some of the marinated rib finger tasting like only fat. And yet that was the meat that had the most flavor. I don’t mind accentuating the flavor with salt but I shouldn’t have to put it on every piece of meat to enjoy it. (We did for everything but rib finger).

Had a lovely lunch for two today with my boyfriend. The service was excellent, Mar really took good care of us. The quality of the meat was so much better than other places, plus I love that I don’t need to shout to be heard like other kbbq places.

We had an 8:30pm reservation for Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was already buzzing when we arrived. The host let us know there would be about a 20-minute delay, but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 10. The clear communication was appreciated. We were seated toward the back of a very busy dining room and were taken care of by Erica, who was kind, calm, and collected despite what was clearly a high-pressure evening. She handled multiple tables while helping cook and maintained professionalism throughout. The Wagyu special had unfortunately sold out by 8:30pm, so we opted for the Signature Beef Guide featuring NY strip (for an additional $5), outside skirt, short rib, and marinated rib finger. The cuts were excellent — tender, flavorful, and high quality. Our sides (corn cheese with bacon and garlic Brussels sprouts) arrived well before the meats and without utensils, which was a bit frustrating since we were hungry. They were also out of Terra, the Korean pale lager I was hoping for, so I settled for Stella — an IPA option would be a welcome addition to the beer list. Two of Erica’s colleagues stepped in to grill our meats and did a fantastic job — skillful and attentive. The salt and sauces were good, though a few more dipping options would elevate the experience further. Our total came to about $155 including tip. At that price point, a few small service hiccups stood out, but overall the quality and professionalism delivered. The ambiance was lively and energetic, especially impressive for a packed Valentine’s night. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend Honest Grill to anyone in the Centreville area looking for premium KBBQ. 🥩🔥🇰🇷
