Wow wow wow. What a wild combination of flavors. Things you think shouldn’t taste good together so when this chef gets his hands on it. From crazy creations like his Creole Seafood Egg Roll to simpler things like his Blackened Salmon Burger, nothing here is short of amazing!

Lived in buffalo my whole life love finding new food. Tried this place on a whim because it's near my apartment and it did not disappoint! It was a little hard to find the place but boy am I glad I did. Got the sweet and sour chicken and rice and honestly was surprised to see it was just one guy working out of a big fancy kitchen alone! He seemed happy to cook and the food certainly reflected it. Amazing flavors with good high quality chicken rice was cooked good veggies fresh. Everything about the food was perfect some of the best stuff I have eaten in awhile. Large portion good for the price I have enough for lunch tomorrow. This tasted like something a chef would make me and I honestly think if I were to get this in Amherst or Williamsville if would be closer to 40$ and it was under 20$. I have literally nothing negative will return probably the next time I order out to try something new. If you are looking for good priced quality food to try give this place a shot!!!

This man is a master of his art! His food is delicious and his service is above par. Lamont has great selections and always rostitjng to keep things fresh. 100% order something from him and find out for yourself.

I have been coming to far east bayou for the past couple years and no matter what dish I try I am treated with a delicious meal! I tried the Cajun chicken cheesesteak and creole seafood egg rolls two weeks ago and both were absolutely delicious! The cheesesteak was tasty and hearty. The creole egg rolls were good as well as I really enjoyed the lobster and the creole dipping sauce goes so well on everything! Anybody reading this should definitely try out Far East Bayou if you haven’t already; you will not be disappointed!

So flavorful, I don’t think my mouth has ever experienced this amount of taste. Can’t wait to come back! How to get there: go in the door to Waxlight, then follow the signs up to the second floor. It looks like you are walking into the kitchen but you can order right there to go or eat at the 3 small tables!

Do yourself a favor and order from this local chef! The food slaps, it's fresh with great flavor combinations you aren't seeing everywhere else, and he won't skimp on portions. The mains are great but be sure to try all the appetizers too 😊
