House of Joy Heung Rae Gak Buena Park

It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but the delicious jjamppong I used to enjoy is gone. I hope the dish becomes great again.🥲

Went there on Christmas evening the place was very busy but the staff was very kind and wait was not to long. The service was excellent and the food was very good.

It's a pretty good jjampong spot in Buena Park! A Koreanized Chinese comfort food spot. It's been a few years since I last visited, and current owners have it right with jjangmyun and Jjampong. Noodle portion was on the light side. Service is prompt but not very friendly. Maybe the server was having an off-day. Restaurant is fairly tidy. I would definitely visit for another craving of jjangmyun.

Our bereaved family of 7 just ate here after a funeral. It was a banquet feast that allowed us to share good memories and find great solace from the sadness with the most delicious foods. It was comfort food in the best sense. Thank you for blessing our family in this way.

Had a very delicious meal today with a large group of 20 family members. Highlights were jajangmyun, salt and pepper chicken, mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, mabo tofu and crispy fried pork. We were stuffed and left very satisfied. Excellent value. Service was efficient. Will definitely visit again.

Something changed. Food isn’t the same as before. They just dont taste right. Even ramen tastes better than their gan jja jang. Fried dumplings are not close to crispy also all their fried dishes taste like tempura from 2days ago on the shelf. Never coming back to this place. Servers are talking and joking while customers having hard time facing tasteless food.

Good for delicious food but expensive for noodles. Very nice for dinner with some drink.
