Customer Reviews
Brothers BBQ has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 1060 reviews on Google
I am 77 years old. I’ve been barbecuing all my life spent most of my time in Texas and in Colorado now and all I can say about brothers barbecue it is some of the worst food let alone just the most terrible barbecue that I’ve ever had got the sampler platter For about 70 bucks and there’s a little bits of a brisket ribs some chicken pulled pork and hot links. Hot links are already sliced the pork. Everything all the meat all the meat. all the meats already had barbecue sauce on them. The beans were uneditable like the rest of the food. This place is terrible. How can have that many 4 1/2 star reviews is amazing. They must pay for them. Never if you value your money or your taste buds ever go there it’s really that bad on my worst day ever barbecuing out in the backyard. I could never have made anything that terrible this is what we still have left and there are four of us here wanted to eat and basically as you can see, we ate none of it except for the parts we spit out terrible food. As you can see from the photos, that’s all the meat that was delivered for about 70 bucks and you can eat it. God bless. Have a good day.
The food has been delicious. It is just as good today it was 7 years ago. Both workers that I ordered from greeted me immediately and nicely. The entire transaction took maybe 2 minutes. I had the Colorado and kc style sauce with my burnt ends and the mashed potatoes. I will be buying it every time I visit.
I got the sampler platter and the meat was bland, I couldn't taste a difference between the shredded chicken, pulled pork, and shredded(?) brisket. The sauces were OK, so you could have textured sauce if you want. The sausage was the most flavorful of the options, so get that if you wind up here, but pretty mid. The ribs were a little better than the shredded meat, but about as good as grocery store reheat takeout. This was my second chance for the Midway location after a neighbor recommended it. Both times bland and disappointing, I won't be trying it again. There are other chains in the area that do better for as much or less.
Been coming here for a while. Come here as much as possible with my son on Thursdays because we love the beef ribs. They have a special and only have the beef ribs on Thursday’s now. I always order the rib and meat special On the menu it says 3 pork ribs, your choice of meat 2 sides and a bun 20.99 add 1 for beef So I always order this meal , the cashier was nice, I tip her and I use my $5 coupon, I ask for beef ribs as always and as far as I can remember I always get 3 as it says on the menu and I’m charged the extra money for choosing beef. My son orders 2 beef ribs Once our order comes I’m given a plate with only two not so meaty beef ribs the bun, sides and chicken My son gets what looks like four ribs, it’s four bones but it’s two and two if that makes sense. I should have took pictures But I mention to the girl who brought our order that there is only two and she says if you order beef you only get two and starts doing a scale weigh out thing with her hands and says, " it evens out" I’m completely confused and had a hard day already so I don’t want to argue and just say ok We eat our meal And my ribs were fatty and not worth it but after the day I had I didn’t have the energy to argue or point out that there is no where on the menu that it says u get less for paying more when ordering beef My son considered his ribs his and ate away while I was left unsatisfied and so unsatisfied that I’m sitting in the restaurant writing this review. Brothers bbq why send me a coupon saying we miss you here’s $5 off and then just rob me of one of my ribs? I don’t get it. Won’t be back next Thursday I guess and it’s a shame as this is one of then last consistent and good places to get beef ribs. Pretty unfair to PAY MORE AND GET LESS Cashier=cool Server girl and servers making the plates with greed=not cool
Brother BBQ is one of those places that reminds you why BBQ matters. The hot links are outstanding. Juicy, smoky, and actually have some attitude. The brisket is exactly what you want it to be. Tender, flavorful, no sauce needed but you’ll probably use it anyway (I love their sweet sauce) . The chicken somehow manages to stay moist while still tasting like it came off a real pit, which is rarer than it should be. Sides don’t phone it in either. The mashed potatoes are straight-up addictive (we often order a full pint for 2 people, LOL) and the mac and cheese is rich, creamy, and dangerously easy to demolish without realizing what you’ve done. If you’re even remotely serious about BBQ, do yourself a favor and get over there. This is consistently some of the best BBQ in town, not hype-of-the-week nonsense. Try it once and you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
Many BBQ sauces to try. Meats were cooked well. Cashier lady knowledgeable. Atmosphere was pretty utilitarian and loud. I thought the prices were a little high. Overall it was an ok experience.
This is one of my favorite local spots! The bbq comes right off the bone and the sauce selection is great. Every time I eat here, the service is kind and quick and relaxed. My partner and I have eaten most things on the menu, and you truly can’t go wrong with your order. 10/10 recommend! Pictured: 1/2 Slab Special with double Mac N Cheese (the fries are super good too!)
