I recently had an amazing Korean food experience that truly hit every craving. We started with the Japchae (D), and it was absolutely delicious. The glass noodles were perfectly chewy, lightly sweet, and tossed beautifully with vegetables. It had that classic balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors that makes japchae so comforting. The Bulgogi (beef) was incredibly flavorful. The beef was tender, well-marinated, and grilled just right. It had that perfect smoky-sweet taste that makes bulgogi a must-order every time. The Kimmari were crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful glass noodles inside. Dipping them in soy sauce made them even better — crunchy, savory, and addictive. For appetizers, the Padak stood out. The chicken was crispy and juicy, topped with fresh scallions and a light sauce that added just the right kick without overpowering the crunch. The Kimchi Jjigae was warm, hearty, and full of depth. The broth had that bold fermented kimchi flavor with a spicy edge that made it incredibly comforting. The Kimchi Fried Rice was another highlight — smoky, savory, and perfectly balanced. Each bite had just the right amount of tangy kimchi flavor. To drink, I tried Milkis, which was sweet, creamy, and refreshing — a fun Korean classic. I also had a bottle of Terra, a crisp Korean beer that paired perfectly with the rich and spicy dishes. Overall, everything felt authentic, flavorful, and satisfying. The variety of textures — crispy, chewy, tender, and brothy — made the meal exciting from start to finish. I would definitely come back to try even more dishes.

I’ve been here multiple times and brought multiple people!!! My go to order is the kimchi stew with rice and bulgogi. The soup itself is very affordable but the add ons make it up to $20 which is not ideal, as kimchi jjigae order doesn’t include rice and if you want rice, you have to get it as an extra. My friends tried the big sandwich that comes with one of the biggest creamiest fries. The sandwich itself is pretty decent with decent amount of flavors. We also loved the ttaekbokki. Ttaekbokki here has more of a spicier flavor with plenty rice cakes and udon. I always end up with runny nose after eating it lol (ig thats how you know it’s good food). The sonbul is also pretty good, I suggest ordering it on cold days alongside with ttaekbokki. The soup itself is bland and goes perfectly with super spicy ttawkbokki!

I stopped by this spot on a long weekend afternoon, a little past the peak lunch rush. Inside, the vibe was relaxed — a few people were hanging out with coffee, chatting with friends, or working on their laptops. I liked the easygoing atmosphere and decided to settle in for lunch. I ordered a Korean fried chicken sandwich with a side of gochujang fries. The service was on the slower side, but I didn’t mind since I was just enjoying the downtime. The staff was friendly, and one of them mentioned the kitchen was closing soon, so they served my food in a takeout box instead of a plate. It didn’t bother me, and the portion size was generous — enough that I took some leftovers home. The fries were okay: crisp but under-seasoned, and the gochujang topping didn’t really deliver much heat or flavor. The sandwich, on the other hand, was excellent. The chicken breast was well-seasoned, perfectly battered, and fried (though a touch greasy). What really made it stand out were the condiments and the pickled radish, which added brightness and balance. It was hearty, filling, and satisfying. Overall, this place has a laid-back atmosphere and serves good food. I’d definitely return and would recommend it to others.

small menu; cozy vibes well done. i enjoy their matcha & chai lattes, one of the few cafes in the neighborhood with lavender syrup so i’m there often. the gochugaru fries were ‘finished before first bite of sandwich’ worthy. the padak sandwich was delicious, great layering of flavors in each bite. i’d order again.

Great place for casual korean! The food is excellent and the vibes are chill. Watch katseye music videos and eat some excellent jigae and fried chicken. Apparently it’s great for breakfast too!

this is probably the second time i have ever had to write a review on google but this feels too much like a scam to let it go. We ordered the kimchi chigae, kimchi fried rice, and japchae. the kimchi chigae does not come with rice and isn’t mentioned anywhere that it isn’t (this is unusual for chigae as it a food that is intended to be paired with rice) but okay i would have ordered a side of rice if i had to… but then the food is nowhere close to what they advertise on the menu as you can see in the picture i posted below.. the soup also comes in a pint container and not the usual 32oz and it only has few pieces of kimchi /tofu and nothing else. even then if the chigae itself is edible and somewhat tasty it might be forgivable and i’d try to understand and blame the "recession" but the broth tastes nothing like a chigae has no flavor other than a hint of gochujang and gochugaru and intense sweetness of sugar water my mouth rejected it as i took my first bite…. I unfortunately have to recook it and try to fix it….. 🙁

I love stopping by this cafe in the mornings. My coffee is always solid and consistent, definitely some of the best coffee in the area. You can tell the baristas really know what they’re doing. I’ll usually hang out for a couple hours early in the morning to get some work done, and it’s always quiet and a good vibe. I’ve had the food a few times too and it’s always been tasty!
