Foundry Food + Tap

The Foundry was a pretty good experience. Let’s start with the food. The valentines special for $29.99 and the bottomless mules, Mary’s and mimosas was a great deal. The drinks and food were all really good besides the Poutine. That was underwhelming and dry to topping ratio was definitely off. I would have given a 5 star if it wasn’t for this. The service was okay. We started with one waitress and ended with a different one. I feel like our waitress was annoyed with us and handed us off to someone else. Another reason for the 4/5 stars. The atmosphere was nice and no complaints there. Overall, I would come back.

Very clean, newer building, the staff was very friendly and our server was good. She had recommendations, on what sold the most but admitted she had not tried many of the items on the menu. Ordered an appetizer of brussel sprouts, one of my go to menu items at any restaurant I go to. With out a doubt they were the worst I have ever had, Hardly cooked, terribly prepared, and so thick I had to cut them apart a piece at a time to eat what I could, no flavor, it was like someone blanched a bowl of them and served them with an ounce of balsamic. Stop serving this dish till you figure it out better. My co-worker had pasta, he said it was good. I also ordered an ala carte lobster Mac, it was good, very small portion approximately 4 dollars an ounce at 16$. I finished with the banging shrimp which were drowned in a sauce, that led them to be soggy, not bad flavor, just soggy. The pairing of blue cheese as a dipping sauce, does not work well. I love blue cheese just not with that sauce. Our food took over an hour to hit the table. Drinks were cold. I don't think I'll go back, but if I did it would be because of the waitress not the food.

Steak was not the best .. the appetizer BBQ shrimp had too much sauce, the avocado rolls were good, we ordered the chops and the only good thing other then the avocados rolls was the deep fried Portobello mushrooms. Drinks were a little too sweet... I expect a little more for the price.. the place is nice but needs to improve the food quality! Service was decent nothing above or extraordinary.

The company I work for had our Christmas lunch/party here. The food was delicious! The staff were amazing, very attentive, kind, and polite. This was my first time here, but I will definitely be back. Everyone's food looked amazing. I had the California Chicken Club and the Monkey Bread for dessert. Amazing!

The appetizer was very good and the black bean burger was ok.The waitress was not to welcoming.

Foundry Food + Tap is an absolute gem and easily one of the best local spots around! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, modern, and inviting—perfect for grabbing drinks, dinner, or hanging out with friends. The food is outstanding, clearly made with care, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The tap selection is excellent, with something for everyone, and the drinks are always on point. What really sets Foundry apart is the service. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely wants you to have a great experience. You never feel rushed, and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and great vibes, Foundry Food + Tap is a must-visit. Can’t recommend it enough!

See full review for steak review Service was decent and loved that they listed the whiskeys and bourbons, dot see this a lot. I travel often and steak hear and there at places like this. Out of the 100 places, I would have to say this is the first time I told a server how bad the steak is. I honestly think I could microwave a steak better, honestly think that’s what they did. There was negative flavor on this steak, didn’t even taste like meat. I am highly against steak steak and steak sauce, but I had to choke it down as I was already here and not finding another place to eat. I think my side salad was better. I saw other food that looked great but if I ever come back I’m not getting a steak.
