Came by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered their kimchi fried rice and their sweet and spicy chicken. The food in my opinion tasted great, the chicken was flavorful and the rice had an interesting meaty taste that went well with it. The food didn't take too long and it was piping hot! Our only complaint is that the chicken came with a tiny scoop of rice, and that the salad was a giant slice of tomato and raw brocoli lol. Otherwise, great spot! Still worth the money to me!

Owner/cook is very cute & friendly. We came in for a 9pm dinner and food came out in 5 minutes. I had the 12pcs chili soy garlic chicken wings with purple rice. There is boneless option and you can choose your side dish. To me, it needed more heat and just a suggestion, the owner should offer various heat levels. The wings were hot & crispy. I love korean cuisine & cook many dishes at home for the family so... i appreciate that he made the sauce for the chicken himself. Overall, I had a good experience and will be back. Oh, I'm a sucker for food served on metal/baking trays, nice touch & no plastic.

We needed some late night eats after a concert and this caught our attention. The food was great. Portions were nice and to size from the picture. I was sad that the did not have anymore purple rice but that is to be expected late night. He was very respectful and ask for substitute, the Mac salad was great. I am sad that my husband could not try it (allergies). I did not know how the drink system works so when I ask for my melon drink (basically my dessert anyway) he was very apologetic even offering 2 for the inconvenience- which it was not. My order came with a soda- I don’t really drink that and was ecstatic to see metal reusable cups for water. Others who are on the fence- remember this is a small business, be realistic to human standards. Some comments are kinda picky. I was too hungry post concert to even consider pictures.

I ordered the tteokbokki and was really disappointed. The portion was tiny for the price it felt more like a sample than a full order. On top of that, the rice cakes were dry and chewy instead of soft and saucy. The flavor was okay, but between the portion size and the texture, it just didn’t feel worth what I paid. I’ll have to come back and try the chicken instead, but I wouldn’t order the tteokbokki again. Updated review I wanted to update my previous review after coming back for another visit. I spoke with Danny and decided to try the carbonara tteokbokki, and it was genuinely lovely. The portion size was solid, the dish was saucy, and the rice cakes felt much more satisfying and complete this time around. I'll have to try the rose tteokbokki and see how that is. I also ordered the fried chicken plate with the sweet and spicy sauce. The chicken was crisp and crunchy, the portion was generous, and everything tasted well prepared and fresh. The only small note for me personally was that the portion of the rice seemed rather small and texture of the rice was not exactly my preference, but that is a minor compared to how well everything else was done. I am glad I gave this place another shot. This visit was a big improvement and much more in line with what I was hoping for.

Awesome spot. Great food. Maybe my favorite Korean fried chicken in the area. Juicy, strong flavors, boneless, decent portion. Salad with yuzu dressing paired nicely. Always friendly service too. Music was a bit loud last time I went.
