Jopok Topokki

I thought I was getting rappoki, Korean style toppokki with noodles inside. This was ten dollars for cup ramen with three rice cakes in it. It wasn't in the spicy toppokki sauce. So disappointed, this isn't what I wanted at all. Buyer beware.

This should not be your first choice. There other food court options. Food didn’t taste very fresh but at least it was hot

I discovered this newly opened Korean street food place inside H Mart food court a few days ago. It was during their soft opening and the menu looks very tempting so I decided to give it a try - turned out to be a great choice! Location-wise, it's great. They share the common dining area with other stands in the food court so there's a plenty of seating options, including regular dining tables and high tops. Menu-wise, I was very surprised to find that they have some very local Korean street food options. For instance, the Korean blood sausage and intestines! It was hard to pick what to ordered bc everything looks so delicious! I ended up trying their kimbap as I've been craving for some really good ones for a while. The staff at the counter was very nice and accommodating. I was hoping to get a bulgogi kimbap (but with cheese) and she helped me customize one - so happy! Honestly it's the best kimbap I've ever had in Austin and I'll keep coming back for more! I'd also love to try their sausage set option in the future as they look rlly tempting in pics 😋

First time trying this place and guaranteed the last time. I tried a very basic dish "Udon" and it was probably the most bland tasting broth I have ever had. It tasted like the water you would cook noodles in. And the counter person acted like i was bothering her by ordering.

I get my grocery at this HMart, so I walk through here on a weekly basis. A few weeks ago, I saw signs for this South Korean street food style restaurant opening, and I was pretty excited. This week is their soft opening, so I had to try them out. So I ordered the Bulgogi Kimbap and a Cheese Topokki. The Bulgogi Kimbap is good and the rice cake in the Cheese Topokki has very good texture. It is chewy in a good way and not doughy and does not stick to the teeth. The sauce is sweet and packing heat at the same time, not too overpowering. I would guess the rice cake they use is not the frozen and comes in a big commercial size bag kind. Overall, the quality of food is good, but the price point might need some adjusting as portion/ingredient to price ratio is out of kilter. Considering you can purchase pretty much the same exact items at a lesser price and/or bigger portion under the same roof.

The cashier had an attitude and was not at all welcoming; we asked for an item from the menu to be made gluten free and it wasn't!! my daughter had an almost immediate reaction to it and was sick all day yesterday and today from it. It is very irresponsible for someone to cause unnecessary harm this way. If we end up having medical bills due to this, I'll take legal action

I've been wanting to try this place out. The pics look so appetizing! I enjoyed my meal but I'm not sure it's anything to rave about. I went with my sister and she got the Jopok All Ramen and I got the Topokki Rapokki and we shared some kimbap. She said hers was good but a little underwhelming and increasingly spicy with every bite. It came in a little mini pot and had a opaque broth. I liked my dish. It was spicier than I would like but not as spicy as other Topokki I've tried. If that makes any sense. It was a generous portion but probably would want to add sausage next time and ask for milder spice. Probably sacrilegious of me to even ask lol. I'd go again to try some of the other popular dishes like the blood sausage and mixed fry set. The woman working there was nice and they gave out stamp cards.
