Mr. Kim Korean BBQ Restaurant

Came in with a large group for my birthday and was seated promptly. Anna the server was AMAZING, so efficient and helpful! Prices are very reasonable and the portions are perfectly sized. Unexpected stars were the japchae and the delicious salad vinaigrette. We did the middle AYCE and the selections were very generous. We were checked on constantly. This was one of the greatest KBBQ experiences I’ve ever had in any state.

Okay, I've always loved this place but I wanna give an extra shout out today cause our server was incredible. He went above and beyond. He brought us extra veggies for our grill, including mushrooms, onions and asparagus. He loaded the meat for us, and salt and peppered it! He was so great & attentive. Temp was perfect. Flavor and portions are great. And I think I got a little extra pumpkin juice. Thank you SO MUCH! We've come two years in a row now during the super bowl and it's the perfect time to come. We get so spoiled!

The food was very good. We ordered chicken fried rice and chicken bulgogi. The service needs improvement. Mainly from the waitress. We arrived at 9 and were seated by a nice gentleman. We must’ve waited a good 10 minutes before a lady came to take our order. We already knew what we wanted as we originally were going to order it to go. The waitress made it feel like we should’ve came earlier because the kitchen closes at 9:30 she said, which is fine because again, we already knew what we wanted. We put our order in and waited another 30 minutes for our food to come out. I think we were checked on once during that waiting period, but I had to stop the waitress to let her know we were not served water and although she had set side dishes out and rice, we didn’t have water for a good 20 minutes. She did apologize but I think having water is important, especially if you give the cups already and some sides. We received better service from the nice woman who brought us our food from the kitchen than the entire time with the waitress. The nice lady made the rest of the night feel pleasant because she checked on us two more times. I wished she had been our waitress because I would be a much happier customer and would’ve definitely given a 5 star review.

My husband and I decided to eat here out of the blue one day and we do not regret this choice. Mr.Kim Korean BBQ has become our go to spot for KBBQ. The tier system was perfect and the food was delicious. Our servers were fast and attentive.

We arrived at 7:15 PM (they close at 10 PM) as a group of 12 and were split across three small corner tables. No server came to greet us for almost 20 minutes. When he finally did, we were told there was a limit of only 4 meat orders at a time. First round (4 dishes) came out and we finished it in about 5 minutes. Then we waited around 30 minutes for the second round. The entire night we had to constantly hunt down our server because he was never around. Our water glasses sat empty and were never refilled unless we asked We stayed for 2.5 hours and only received 3 rounds of meat total for 1 table (4 people). After 9 PM the server said it was last call for the kitchen, so we placed another order. He came back later and told us there was "no more meat" because the kitchen had already closed. No warning, no heads up, just sorry, too late. Every single one of us left hungry, even our nephew. We paid $55 per person to cook our own food and still barely got anything to eat. Bringing out raw meat is literally the main service here, and they couldn’t even manage that. We gave polite feedback and the server seemed offended instead of trying to make it right. If you were short-staffed, you should have told us upfront or asked us to waitlist instead of seating us and providing such poor service.

Went during their "happy daytime hour" ($23/person) on the weekday. The limited menu still included the usuals and was a great deal for the amount of food we were still able to have! Staff was attentive and the decor, music, and layout were reminiscent of Korea. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Food is delicious and service is always fast and friendly. The place is always so clean and maintained. Would highly recommend if you’re native or here out of town!
