Yechon Annandale is one of those places that quietly reminds you why classic Korean restaurants never go out of style. The spread of banchan alone feels like a meal, everything tastes amazing and thoughtfully prepared. Service is fast and efficient, and the food arrives quickly without feeling rushed. If you’re looking for authentic Korean food that’s hearty, reliable, and truly satisfying, Yechon absolutely delivers. A longtime favorite in Annandale for very good reason.

December 2025 We came back again after our previous DC trip. Love the flavorful and large selection of small dishes offered. Highly recommended this restaurant. My rating 5 as very satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Attentiveness 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Speed of service. 5/5 Highly recommended

I recently visited Ye Chon in Annandale, VA and left disappointed. The sashimi wasn’t available that day, and although they gave me a $5 discount out of $79.99, it didn’t really improve the overall experience. The food was just so-so — the fish didn’t taste fresh or delicious, and for the price, it didn’t feel worth it. I also came with the bulgogi, and it really missed the mark. It had a strangely strong flavor, almost like it was made with lower-quality meat, and the texture was very dry. The side dishes felt cheap and basic, which added to the overall underwhelming meal. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d return.

First time coming here and wow, this restaurant tastes very authentic. The portions are huge so definitely worth the price. Personally like all the side dishes that came with the meal and you can ask for refills as it is free. The servers are also very friendly and responsive if you need anything.

Yechon has been around for a long time. I’ve been coming to eat here for over 25 years and I consider it a staple of Annandale. I frequent a lot of Korean restaurants in Annandale and Yechon is one of my favorites. Food is consistent and the banchan (side dishes) are the best! I think the banchan are made fresh daily! We often come here for the family meal, which just makes for a perfect little family meal. It has little bit of everything- sushi appetizer, grilled fish, bulgogi meat, soup, and a seafood (squid) dish. Includes 2 beers too! I really think they make the best dishes! They also have barbecue available but I think the non-barbecue dishes stand out more! My son Alex loves the grilled mackeral. But he loves and appreciates the hard working ladies there even more! We are always excited to see them as they help make each meal perfect! When we walk in and we are always greeted with a warm welcome, I immediately start looking forward to my meal!

Me and my family went to this restaurant and they had been before and stared it was not the same. The waitress seemed to want to rush us, they gave 4 drinks for 5 people, they refused to give a side shrimp for a child, when it came time for my son in law to pay she brought the check and stood over him asked him to hurry and sign. Won't I've ever encounter.
