Joyspot – Hotpot & Grill was a overall good dining experience. I tried both the grill and the hot pot, and even though I’m not the most adventurous eater, I was impressed by the huge variety of options. There were plenty of meats — chicken, beef, lamb — prepared in different styles, from marinated cuts to frozen selections ready for the hot pot. The seafood selection looked extremely extensive as well, though I didn’t try it this time. I will know that some of the vegetable options were not that expensive and some of the ramen presented did look a bit cheap. However there were many sauces and seasoning options so I felt that it was good. I chose a Pho‑style hot pot, which was flavorful and comforting, and the grill was just as satisfying. The environment was relaxed with many customers thoroughly enjoying the menu fare. I paid $42 which may be a little bit pricey for what I was actually eating but the overall experience as I said was good and I felt that many customers there were enjoying the mail and for taking a lot of the food that was there.
Not impressed. Service was terrible. Super over price for ramen. Store bought 45 cent ramen at that.. tables were broken and dirty/greasy. meat has so much fat that it wouldn't render out with cooking. Definitely not worth 126 for lunch!!! Won't be back. Responding to owner- there is absolutely no way I would come try it again with those prices. And if you actually looked at the review and pictures you would see the copy of the receipt for date time etc... I don't appreciate a canned response
Really good all-you-can-eat experience. You pick up what you want from the buffet and grill them at your table, plus there’s a hot pot for making soup. Definitely worth it if you like seafood, especially shrimp.
Very fun experience and good food, however the hotpot offerings were not as vast as id like, such as more veggie choices, but the grill add on is totally worth it
A very spot to enjoy hotpot. The tomyum broth is really good. I am Vietnamese so I was looking for fish sauce as dipping sauce. But it's understandable for the location that they don't provide it because not a lot of people is familiar with hotpot. Service is great. Staff is nice and drinks are good as well.
The hotpot restaurant has a unique style, with food lines offering a wide variety of meats, fresh and plentiful vegetables, and very fresh and appealing seafood. The desserts are also delicious. There are many broth options to choose from, and Tonkotsu is very tasty, naturally sweet, and rich in flavor. The staff are lovely and enthusiastic in their service.
Absolutely the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I ate here on Nov 8, 2025, and within hours we both suffered serious food poisoning — stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted for days. The seafood was clearly spoiled (shrimp with a bad smell, slimy oysters, discolored crab), and the meat was mushy and unsafe to eat. This is not just about bad taste — this is a public health concern. The restaurant must take immediate action to fix its food safety and hygiene practices before more people get sick. We’ve reported this incident to the BBB. Please, be careful if you plan to eat here.
